Funniest Scumslips

The only serious scumslip I've had was when I was town in Lovers Mafia. I accidentally said my lover was Baby Spice, a dead mafia member, rather than Haylen.

Funniest scumslips I've seen were by jilynne1991 in Open 307, she nearly had the game completely wrapped up for scum but got too excited that she was going to win her first game and started slipping all over the place. Check out the last couple pages of Day 5 in that thread for some lulz. For one, she posted this...

The bandwagon at this time was on cjdrum and wasn't going to be heading anywhere else at the time, why would she post "WHEN we get to LyLo?"

I didn't think I was capable of slipping, but I dropped a major one. This is from Naruto Mafia. At the time, we were in a 2:1:1 lead up to a prisoner's dilemma. I was the SK and had already claimed. Kise was mafia but he hadn't been fully outed yet so it was

that he keep thinking I was NK immune. Then I made this post...

Yeah, I put some thought into it and this will be game over as soon as I submit my action. Best case scenario for scum or town is that scum kills my recruit, Nacho, tonight and I kill town, which puts me @ 1:1 with scum tomorrow, then I use my second recruit to end the game

Thankfully may tactics worked and Kise claimed mafia before the no-lynch. I'm not sure he caught it anyway, but I still cringe when I see that post.

When he asks for help in the scum qt and they don't have daytalk is the best.

I consider that player error although I support a sitewide rule that would force Mods to check that all living players have logged in before they are allowed to start the next day (early).

y'see i had made a mistike a big one. I had made the QT and LOCKED IT WHEN DAY STARTED. and then the mod posted in thread and then i got lynched.

NIGHT phases are going to be very important so we can get flips. KILLS by the mafia are going to be very unlikely to go through. RUSHING through lynches isn't going to help us at all.

And was making a joke.

The best part of the game was when Jingle thought he had a sure plan on his hands: Just go to night all the time and everybody submitted (this was revealed to the town) must be town! Of course, he couldn't say that, so he said that he was "fucking magic".

Then this happened and the plan was abandoned.

Town does it more than scum. Scum takes care to make sure they've said as little as possible that can be attacked or misinterpreted.

Ehhhh I still say it depends on the player. I like to say controversial things as scum to get people to townread me.
