the green was bright and distracting

the purple feels like a relaxing speak easy

I think red would feel violent pink and too bright or brown and ugly pending on how deep a red it was

I want mine to be bright red and flash rapidly. Preferably blaring some klaxons.

Blue would be the best color IMO, like a royal or navy

Red and green for Christmas, blue and silver for Hanukkah. Red/pink for valentines day, pastels for easter. Bright yellow for summer lol

As for hydras, we're discussing it, and will get back to you.

I did a search for hydras in the thread and nothing came up so I may have missed it if it was already addressed but what's the update on this? If we can create a Private Topic, is it acceptable to create one for hydra discussions?

In post 25, Mr. Flay wrote:Zoraster is correct. This is actually MUCH more secure than QT, which could potentially even end up on Google if linked badly. This is a whitelist system, meaning you have to authorize them to have access, even if they somehow got the link.

It looks like QT topics now show up on Google when searched. So if anyone is still using them they should really stop.

In light of this, will anyone be punished if someone else sees ongoing game stuff in a QT thread that was assumed to be private?

I stopped using QTs because I didn't trust the QT site.

Well, the honor system is still in play. Obviously don't try searching for QT links.

I believe that QTs are only linked on google when they're linked in postgame chat, etc.

Could the linked text color be something other than white? It's nearly impossible to read in a quote box. The most common issue is with a quote itself where it refers to what post the quote comes from.

Is that even possible?

KK, you are running a scare campaign. The only QT links accessible through google are if they're publicly linked.

Can we get a search function for PTs like we do for other threads?

no

sorry, i should expand: I don't think it's possible without significantly reworking things (that would involve a lot of work by people whose usernames do not begin with Zor and end in aster.) As it stands, search is purposefully turned off because of the risk of being able to search and find things you shouldn't have access to.

Can i get access to create button in private topics. I want to work on a new game design and it seems my accounts for pokerface and mr. Rogers no longer have access to that button. Also with Marathon weekend coming up and without that button I can't give any scum groups private topics for my games. I need access at least by then but I'd prefer it sooner so I can work out my design for http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=61733

I used 2 PTs for a marathon game (thanks zoraster and PokerFace!). I assume now I've made them public and locked them, they'll be moved to the completed game topics by one of the mods?

Oh, and the text for making topics public or private isn't legible on this background.. Should make it more contrasting.. Black or white I suggest.

This is kinda necro,p but,

Fix the contrast for dice tags in PT; I literally could not see the results and had to zoom in a lot to do so. Black on dark grey is never a good idea.

Dice isn't one of the custom tags I can directly do much about.

I assume this is primarily an issue with reading on your phone. Do you need to do much dice work from your phone? Usually the dice is used as a method of randomizing roles.
