In this topic: The role list for Grand Idea Mafia. Post a role to be included at the top of your post. This can be anything, a normal thing like a Cop or a weird thing like a Compulsive Firebreathing Serial Killer Jester. For Grand Idea Mafia, a person simply takes this thread, and randomizes between 0 - last post number. They then become the role at the top of that post.
If you want to post in this thread something that isn't a crazy role (commenting on a role or something), at least put
Vanilla Town
at the top of your post. I mean we'll need some of those anyways.

No, a shit ton of Worst/Best role ideas is discussion. This is going to be a role list. With discussion. But the discussion has Vanilla Town at the top. So basically yes it's Worst/Best role ideas.

Wow! X posted a role that really god damned broken! I want to run Grand Idea, what do I do?
Just say it's excluded. I'll try to keep a list in an early post of "Roles I would try to exclude" but I'll probably stop updating after 10 posts.
The alignment of the role isn't stated...
If the description doesn't mention win con and there is no mod, assume it's town. If there is a mod for the game, it’s up to the mods discretion.

Flip a coin ["two-sided die"] whenever you cast a vote, in the same post. If it flips tails [2], that vote is instantaneously redirected toward yourself.

Mafia One-shot RNG Cop
Once per game, at night, you may make an investigation. You will be informed of the post number from which one of the players who began the game took their role. The player will be chosen randomly but you are not an eligible target. You will not be told which player got that post number, only that that post number made it into the game somewhere. The player may already be dead.

Mafia Adder
Choose two people at the start of the game. Their two role numbers will be added together. The sum will be your role. You will still keep the Mafia Alignment, only recieving the role part of that numbered post.
If the sum is a post number not in the thread, the mod will divide it by two until it is a post in the thread.

Double Roler
Roll again, twice. You are both those roles. If you get this one again, reroll.
If your alignments conflict, you are the last alignment you rolled. If one of your roles is Vanilla or Goon but the other isn't, you are the other role.
Examples:
1) Vanilla Town and Mafia Goon. You are a Mafia Goon.
2) Town Doctor and Mafia Goon. You are a Mafia Doctor.
3) Town Vigilante and Town Doctor. You are town, and you both shoot and protect your target from one kill.

Each night you may target another player. If their role comes from a post number above 100, you will prevent them from taking any action. If not, your action has no effect.
