Town Armored Doctor

Each night you may target a player to protect them from one nightkill.
You have heavy armor on, which fortifies you and makes you impervious to nightkills but slows you down and delays your actions by one night.
I’m introducing Armored roles as a counterpart to Flying roles, inspired by Fire Emblem. Honestly I’m probably going to submit a lot of Fire Emblem inspired stuff for a while.

@singleton not really but it reminds me of the flier class and I remember in the birthright micro my role was that of Hinoka, a flying unit in the game and the functionality of my role iirc was similar to what Flying does here

Town Beast

Appears as Werewolf to Seer checks. Has a nightly vigilante ability.
This is essentially a Miller Vigilante but appears as Werewolf instead of Mafia.
Also, it’s inspired by the Laguz from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn.

Reverse Inquisitor


Each night, choose a player. That player will be protected from kills that night. If your protection stops a kill, the player you protected will be recruited into your cult. Their role and abilities will not change (just their win condition), and you will be given a PT in which to talk to them.
Exceptions:
- Your protection (and thus your recruit) will not work on an anti-town player, unless they are self-aligned or the only remaining player of their faction.
- If all other killing roles are dead, your recruitment will work even if nobody attempts to kill your recruitment target (but will continue to fail on anti-town players who have friends).

The flavour here makes a surprising amount of sense. Sadly, I'm not sure that the balance does.

Town 8-ball (less broken)

Reroll until you get another town role. This player is that role and receives that role PM, but secretly is an 8-ball in addition to that. It's publicly revealed that there's an 8-ball, and all anti-town players know who it is. The game is nightless while the 8-ball is alive.
It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they're always going to have to do from the very beginning... SIT DOWN AND TALK!

During the day, target a player.
If that player is due for replacement due to inactivity, or the slot has ever been replaced for flaking, you will kill them.

However, if you ever require replacement for ANY reason (including non-activity-based reasons), you will instead be modkilled and converted into a neutral survivor.
