Huge wiki main-page update, give me your thoughts!

I'd recommend, removing the section on the right, though - there's no reason to think we'll be implementing anything like that.

Also, I am conceivably interested in article-writing, depending on what you're looking for.

The article I mentioned is what I'm seeking at the moment, as for the thing on the right: I can easily run that and it displays to visitors a positive atmosphere of our community. I would hope it will attract the attention of some to look into the forums and then possibly join them. I'll try it for a bit and depending on the result I may nuke ot.

Hey, I can't seem to find this, but it's something I'd like to do for the sake of clarifying roles in my fancy table thing.

How do you do footnotes? Or at the very least, how can you set something to link to a particular line?

Could you explain in more detail or give an example?

Look at my wiki, where I have the [1] in superscript for a role and the explanation of that role down below.

Would it be possible to set it up so that the number links to the explanation so that it goes down to its position, and have a link that allows it to link back?

Also what good is having the main page up to date, if my page is still broken.

One suggestion (I don't know if it's been suggested before, I didn't read this thread before I replaced in): Add text in the "About Mafia" section to also mention Werewolf of Miller's Hollow and other names the game is known by. I think that could help drive traffic here where people search on that term and "roles" or the like.

I've also added a poll for the "scummer of the week thing" to see people's oppinions.

I first off want to thank wgeuts for updating the wiki. It looks great!

It is to my knowledge that the wiki for MafiaScum is not used by people from this forum, but also by a lot of different sites were mafia is played. I understand this because there were links to the wiki forum from where I originally played my first games at. That said, I think that while the wiki stores a crazy amount of information, I believe I have found a category that has yet to be documented on the wiki.

I don't know if it is standard prcedure to use a reads list in games, but I know that a lot of people use them. Reads lists are a great source of info where people can find where people stand on everyone in the game all in one post. Great for going back and doing POE sometimes, much like a VCA. Thing is, there is nothing in or on the wiki on reads lists. I was a little shocked when I typed "read lists" and "reads list" into the wiki and noticed there was not in fact a page devoted to them. So all I ask is if people think that this is a category that needs to be talked about in the wiki that one be done. I have really no idea who would be qualified and knowledgeable enough to write and article or description of this, but I'm sure there has to be someone out there who can do it. If its going to be an article it can talk about what, when, where, how and why to do a reads list as well as cover the different ways to do them.

Well that's really all I wanted to say. I think someone should do a page on the wiki for reads lists because I see them all the time in games and its pretty much just left up to people to figure out how to do them on their own rather than having a page devoted to it.

I don't think there is a "case" wiki page or a "votecount analysis" wiki page, is there? How to share your reads, to what amount, and if you want to do it at all or not is and should be a personal thing, not something that you should follow a wiki's instuctions in order to do.

There is a category for views on certain topics, it would fit there.
