First game mod

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Mon Nov 24, 2014 5:27 am

OK so I just finished modding my first game. And I will say that it was an interesting experience. Even though I wasn't following the game as closely as I would as a player I think it was interesting to notice things that players didn't notice. There were some things that still baffled me. Overall I think modding games makes people better players overall because you can more easily see the things, even the derpy things, that town players do and distinguish them from scummy things players do. Obviously all players are different but modding was cool.

What kind of things have other people learned modding a game vs playing a game?

PRs that seem to be ineffective can turn around and win the game for town with the 'ineffective' early actions.

Oh yeah and I just won my first offsite game of mafia using the techniques that I've learned here. The ISO feature on this forum is a godsend.

Also, what is NM doing? Worst play I’ve ever seen.
I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.
I'm guessing you haven't read the game and probably never will? Why even sign up to play?

a 6 day necro and a 12 year necro are very different beasts. One could argue that a 6 day gap is negligible. Even a half a year gap is only mildly troublesome (180~ days)
