moderating experience

maybe i suck at reading but... it seems like you have to moderate a game in the llama's open que before you are eligible to mod anything else?

this que moves at a snails pace and it'l be my turn in a year at this rate. do i have other options?

you can also design a mini normal, go through the Normal game review process, and run a game in that queue. I think it's faster than waiting to run an open game provided you manage your review process well.
