Non-Fiction resources about mafia + people in this community
I'm looking for non-fiction resources about Mafia/Werewolf and am struggling. I found an article in Wired from 2009 and have followed those leads but I just wanted to see if the MS community knew of any other resources regarding the history of the game, prevalence of the game currently, etc.
Would also love to get in touch with anyone who was active during the period that MS became an offshoot of Grey Labyrinth.
I'm currently trying to make a podcast about the Mafia/Werewolf subculture, so I figured I'd take a shot in the dark and make this thread.- mastin2

There was a Werewolf TV show pilot featuring C-list celebrities that never got picked up, but I don't have a link to the video. My academy.

I'm not sure this is quite what you are after, but it's a fun little video nonetheless.

I am also really too busy to play mafia to the quality level I prefer. I should spectate. If you see me in more than one game tell me off! Also invite me to cool games to spectate. I will bring cupcakes! <3- Majiffy

Have already followed the rabbit hole for the stuff on the wiki, all of that is very thin. Considering this game has popular sites like this one and now a yearly invitational championship series on 2+2, as well as being wildly popular at nerd conferences/conventions I was hoping there might bea little moresomewhere but the information is scattered and thin.
Anyone who can help me create a narrative would be cool to chat with- vendetta21

Like the part in Zachary Mexico's book China Underground is interesting but is kind've narrow and also a dead-end if you don't speak Chinese. The paper from the Annals of Applied Probability is interesting but that paper only went into surface level statistics of the game and didn't delve further. Finding out any history of the growth of this game or any data about the prevalence is almost entirely independent but if someone knows of a resource or a person that would be awesome.- BBmolla
