Do you take in every bit of written drama or do you just ignore it and read who died etc?

Games I'm playing in or watching, all of it. That's why I chose to play in/watch them, and why I don't play in/watch Normal games -- too boring.

Unless it gets too confusing. Then I skim.

I haven't played in three years, only read games I'm not in on a very superficial level, and can't remember playing many games with heavy flavor when I did play, so take this with a grain of salt:

Sometimes! Humor is a huge plus. With a few exceptions, I like it when mods don't just take the characters in the players' role PMs and write weird fanfiction about them. It's much better when they use the players themselves and write weird fanfiction about them.

You take that back this instant.

Sorry, I can't :( Different strokes for different folks.

I find it hard nowadays to follow games even with flavor, which is why I tend to do so badly and pretty much stopped playing. I can't keep track of players or arguments starting when games get to somewhere around pages 3-5. So if there's no flavor, or cool roles to see do weird stuff, there's nothing which can keep me engaged.

I skip it.

Unless it's like flavor I'm really interested in.

If it's just flavour for the sake of flavour, then I don't usually bother, but if it's humorous and/or really well-written, then I read all of it.

I usually read it. Someone took the trouble of writing it.
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"

If I like the theme I'll read it (see Varsoon's Space Dandy Mafia), or if it's short and sweet. Otherwise all I care about is the flips.

You heard it here first folks, he masturbates to mafia games.

Also I will read flavor of the games I am in if it is short and well written. I absolutely hate when mods post walls of text (slightly excusable in theme games).

I read my own but only because I use flavor to procrastinate having to make a career out of writing, and thus I go crazy internally if it isn't consistent.
Join me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

Kuribo's read is foolproof: one night he was high on NyQuil, and he's ancestors reveiled Aureal's alignment to him. - Dessew
