You never have to feel bad about lynching lurkers. If anything you should confess all the times you didn't lynch lurkers.

That's good to know because I always go after lurkers hard as town and many people have told me that's scummy because they are easy mislynches. My issue with that is, if I leave them until endgame, town will lose because scum is never going to shoot them, and then it will just be apathetic bad town and scum at the end. Of course, if these lurkers happen to be scum, they need to die ASAP.

I've had bad experience with lurkers as scum. It seems like every time I near endgame and try pushing a lurker slot they pick up their activity and obvTown it up for everyone.

See a slot that's nullish scum on a lot of people's reads lists? Fill them with a bullet.
See a slot that barely contributes? Fill them with a bullet.
See a slot that has 20% of the game's posts? Fill them with at least 20 bullets.
See a slot that will give insight into the alignments of a lot of people if they flip? Fill them with a bullet.
See a slot that wants to get lynched? Fill them with a bullet.

Take note of the always. There are rare exceptions where some of these things are fine (you are playing jester for example), but if someone always does one of these things or more than one of these things, make no exception, vidge them night 0!

I didn't push hard enough. The scumteam knew that. I knew that. I lynched townies and demanded to lynch the right townies because I couldn't game solve well enough without getting those lynches.

I once invented an entire code to manipulate a town player to make them feel special so I didn’t have to kill them even though anyone with setup spec knowledge knows a jailkeeper and an alien shouldn’t be in the setup. I feel completely horrible about it even though the person was pretty chill about my play post game.

Here's one that I just remembered from a past game: I remember a player defended me in that lion king mountainous a while ago. Since I was worse than I am today I wrongly thought "Hmm only scum defend people!" so I attacked them. They were town. So, I just want to say, I'm sorry.

Serious confession: I was once specifically sought out by a player to replace into their slot and didn't realize it until I was already in the game. I never said anything for a few reasons and that player that sought me out has since been permabanned for other reasons.
