I've been holding on to this question for quite a long time, but now I have to ask directly

Will there be team mafia 2016?

Don't think so, Zoraster said he would likely run it every two years.
Though when he does, join the team nobody expects to win as that helps your chances of winning.

Theoretically anyone could run something like this. With the support of an admin of cause.

It would be funny to something like this based of country or something, Mafia Olympics.

Yeah, every 2-3 years seems about right for Team Mafia. It asks a lot of its participants and I found when I ran the second a year after the first, there was less engagement from the players and felt less fresh.

Basically there's teams playing multiple games.
Each player reps their team in one of the games and only they can post in that game.
Everyone on the team knows their team-member's alignment and can give thoughts/feedback on what they currently think and that player can bring them up in the game itself.

There is also a scoring system to determine the winning team so there's an element of competition between teams.

The number and types of simultaneous games varies, but there has always been one White Flag game, one Normal game, and at least one Theme game.
