That would normally what I'd do, but half of players in that game are wotcers. In the spirit of not talking about ongoing games, I won't say anything else.
That's tough for them. You're already in the game. Just do your best and they have little choice but to give you another chance.
I would highly recommend you avoid people who want to avoid you in the future, though. It simply isn't the case that you're being substantially prevented from joining the kind of games you'd like to join because of what could only be a smallish subpopulation of the site. Build up a rapport with other players such that those other players enjoy playing with you.
Cyberpunk Mafia. Gumball. several other games I am not remembering now. You are saying I was WoTCed out of all those games by a small populace. Not only that, but several people have asserted that I should be WoTCed no matter what in this very thread, with Wisdom as their ringleader.
I doubt Wisdom is going out of his way to get people to WotC you.
You're almost certainly correct that this thread is not helping your case, but mostly because you're drawing attention to the fact that people WotC you (which you also did in the Gumball signup). Just let it go, play your best, avoid those who don't like you, and you'll be fine.
But the fact is that majority of the site doesn't like me. It's not a coincidence that I am WoTCed in every game I try to sign up for that uses some form of it. You're telling me to avoid the majority of playerbase? Sorry, but that's impossible.
The only way out is either to make an alt, like people have said, or build a site of my own, where I make the rules and therefore am in no danger of being WoTCed.
I have a list of players I'd be very apprehensive about playing with (although I probably wouldn't WOTC them; everyone deserves multiple chances). Although there's good reason to keep the list secret so as not to cause unnecessary drama, Jeanne isn't on it.
@Jeanne - I sometimes just say the moment I PM to the mod that I'm aware that other folks might not want to play with me and if there are any issues I'm happy to rescind my /in
I'm reasonably aware that I can be abrasive at times and my personal preference is that I play in a game where all other players' feelings are respected. So from my humble pov - sometimes it's better to be aware of that and just respect the fact that past behaviour is all that others have to go on. Being that up-front about it also avoids awkward post-backs in signup threads that x or y player wasn't included for whatever reason.
That said. If you're alting and intend to change your own behaviour through an alt, I think it's also best practice to at least let the mod know in some way shape or form that you are an alt. I think the mod of the game is the best judge of how they want their game to run and if they don't have an issue then they can take it on good faith that you're at least going to *try* to play differently if your play in previous games has been shitty.
Also - I'd play with you again anytime (as in I wouldn't avoid you at all). So maybe you're thinking it's a bigger problem than it actually is, or maybe the games where you were asked not to play were a sore spot for players concerned at the time. If you feel you've played shittily with some other players recently, maybe avoid signing up with the same group of players if you know that they're not going to like playing with you again.

Seconded! Much love Jeanne. I know you're trying to get better, and I respect that.
