Besides, it's hard for alts to get into games. According to the rules, they can't join a newbie game because they aren't a newbie, and they can't join other queues because they're not experienced enough to join.....

maybe, but the harsh reality of the situation is that the quality of play improves for those that remain, even if the playerbase is slightly smaller

im not suggesting you're bad or that you should leave, by the way. i'm just pointing out that a larger player base doesn't make for good games

i only played with kaintepes once, but i can't say i'd shed a single tear if i never had to play with him again... i mean, there's "bad" in the sense that a player knows they have room to improve and they are actively trying to do so (like you seem to be) and then there's "bad" in the sense that a player is just bad and doesn't care about improving at all

Even so, being toxic isn't the problem. There are far more toxic players than me, like that person who took the argument out of the game and insulted someone else's mother. that player is also toxic and is also avoided by a bunch of people. I agree 100% that the person you're talking about was 200% out of line with what they did.
