tbh i don't think "toxicity" in the sense of insults is anywhere near the worst way in which someone can be toxic in a game

i say that as someone who has literally been told to run my cock through a meat grinder

because while insults are perceived as something really awful, if you're bringing someone to the point where they feel like saying something like that, then you're probably doing something very wrong yourself

also i think i'd rather play with someone who tells me they feel i should be sodomised by a pitchfork than i would with someone who frequently fake-claims or hammers people as soon as they reach L-1 or lays down and lets themselves get lynched or goes emo and whines when anyone puts votes on them or a very, very long list of other things that ruin my enjoyment of a game more than insults do... but maybe that's just me or maybe i have a different definition of "toxicity" when it comes to mafia than normal people do

When you play, you have a bunch of a different goals at the same time.

1) Find scum and get them lynched. This is the most important.
2) Find town and work together with them. This is also very important.
3) Avoid getting lynched. This is important, but less important than 1 and 2. Focusing on 1 and 2 should make number 3 take less effort.
