The thing is people expect recklessness from me and even town read me for doing it

But like I said in post game, I wouldn't have done that as town to begin with. Maybe if the slot had kept refusing to claim but not a quick hammer on page 3. But I took refuge in audacity and defended myself with "what do you expect I'm Kuribo?" Even though I had never done that before

Kuribo's read is foolproof: one night he was high on NyQuil, and he's ancestors reveiled Aureal's alignment to him. - Dessew

There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

You must not imagine that for beings like you and us there can be laughter. The low men laugh, and we envy them. But for us, the higher ones, there is no laughter, only an unending vigil, purely serious, stretching on into the night.

Barring something like a gunsmith result I usually claim VT and try to squirm out of a lynch

I once fakeclaimed Conditional Innocent Child Jack-of-all-Trades as scum before.
And that was a day after I quickhammered a town JoaT.

In fairness, any mod who puts in a vote thief voteless player, should be banned from modding games.

In post 18, GuyInFreezer wrote:Whats the difference of
1) Hammering town without claim
2) Hammering town anyway after hearing claim because you don't believe it
There exist situations where they can claim and confirm themselves off of ALREADY EXISTING evidence. Easy examples: revealing themselves as an IC; claiming mason; claiming vig who shot that now-dead scum player; claiming to be a tracker who tracked a player to a location which that player then confirms. (That last one, mind you, does not confirm alignment, just role.)
It can also allow some roles which are easy to confirm a chance to confirm: friendly neighbor, fruit vendor (though again, ability not alignment), and bodyguard all come to mind off the top of my head.

In such situations, it is in fact best to wait for them to claim.

If these situations prove to not come up, hammer away.
If those situations could not possibly come up (some setups, particularly opens, usually mean you know this sort of thing already), then my answer changes: there aren't any.
