Here today, I'd like you all to ask me questions about your concerns with lurking and I will do my best to instruct you in how your opinion is actually wrong.

I simply wish to guide you all upon the correct path.

Now excuse me while I lurk this thread until a respectable amount of responses has arisen to give a first hand example of proper lurking

Well, I personally think it should only be used in cases on hard meta. Looking at you Ari >_>

I've found that older players post less than newer players so it isn't actually as telling as it actually is. Also I've tunneled more town than scum who posted little than what is probably healthy. I think it's a policy that wouldn't serve well.

As scum, just ignore it, town are idiots, you can treat them like a pack of dogs. Say you're wagoned in the beginning of the game as scum because RVS, just shut up and wait for town to argue with itself and vote elsewhere. You may be a juicy steak but "SQUIRREL" and town forgets you even existed.

The other benefit to lurking when wagoned is that if town, and you get heated to post, then town will continue to ruffle your feathers to get content out of you. However, lurking shows that it doesn't matter, so they'll stop using bait tactics.
