In my opinion, as long as the posts have relevant content, post as much as you like.

I also find multiple posts preferrable to walls as it provides more manageable chunks of reading, as well as reducing the need to trim up quotes for responses. I'd much rather have to turn the page more often than try to parse a wall.

If a wall must be posted though, please for the love of God, use paragraphs to break up your thoughts. It might just be my ADHD, but looking at a solid block of text with no clear divisions makes it nigh impossible for me to even identify the words

I've combatted that by not reading posts, harassing people that do it (you're admittedly on a fine line with the mods here), and actively acknowledging that I'm ignoring someone that posts too much.

I think it's town's responsibility to look at a 1v1, skip it for the shitfest that it is, and not try to trough through it, ending with a fatigued read of TvT

The kind that bothers me the most is incessant posting which does not reflect on the actual game in progress. Like a couple of players drop into hangman or start a debate in a game thread.
I've also seen 1v1's that span games in the form of bringing up what happened in previous games, claiming someone has a vendetta, etc. I just report those, though usually nothing happens.

I don't. Yet, I realize that posting too much may drown the rest of town as I have discovered in my recently finished game. (Scum were the only ones who kept up with me, 700+ posts) So that's something to consider. [For me, I will consider to be active but a little bit less active, maybe]
