(Advice needed) Returning to modding after a 2 year break

Many will remember I modded large and mini themes non stop on MS for years until the end of 2015 when I got totally burnt out. I have only returned to the site recently and am considering getting back into modding.

Has there been any major changes/new roles etc to the game in my absence? I am a little bit nervous after being away for so long and am worried about jumping back in and running out-dated games/set-ups etc.

Roles haven't changed that much, just expect lots of hyper posting - you go away for less than 24 hours and you might have 5+ pages to read.

Larges tend to have excessive hyperposting.
Micros are the opposite, sometimes you have to try really hard to get people to post at all. (Also, did Micros even exist 2 years ago? They're fairly popular now, at least.)
There have been a few innovative roles coming up recently, but nothing really out of the ordinary.
