People can argue they like the idea behind hyperactive but not execution.
For example I very much dislike the idea of mod punishing players because they broke rules and posted too little.

Dismissing criticism as “just don’t play it” is kind of as useless as the argument “it’s the worst idea ever, don’t rver play it”

why is it such an issue? Obviously there's some issues that can come with the ruleset just like there are issues that come with a non-hyperactive ruleset.

My (more actively than passively) playstyle wouldn't work on a hyperactive game, still some players manage to play that kind of game.

We shouldn't have a "hyperactive ruleset". We do not want to motivate spamposting. btw this is common fare on MafiaUniverse and I personally am terrified of games where they say "post this much in X time period". If you can't post that much organically you have to make extra filler posts.

Again, it's not like you HAVE to play these games. You don't, if they don't fit your playstyle. But the fact is that a lot of us don't want to bother parsing through one shitpost and trying to figure out which shitpost would come from scum. That's not mafia, that's just annoying.

If the people who are in the group prefer juvenile as a name we'll change it but so far the people I've reached out to or that have contacted me privately have prefered Hyperactive.

And you would be surprised at how many of the low posters posts are actually substantial and readable
