I can't say I'm in a place to give tons of accuracy advice while I'm still working on various tenets of my own reads, but there are lots more aspects to townplay than reading ability, as beeboy pointed out
hmu on Discord sometime
Edit: probably not in the super near future because i'm trying to get games off the ground on modside but definitely in a bit- Ranmaru

FWIW I have always been fine sticking my confidence level at 50%. At that point I want you dead.
My harder lesson was learning when to pivot off something. There's a certain nose you have to have for when something is wrong versus something is right. The knowledge that a "good read" is 50% likely to be wrong and yet is still a good read is important there. You have to realize most of your reads are coin flips, and be happy to pivot them when you need to.
Sure, there's some "to the bank with this" reads that you never change, but most of your reads, take the time to clear your thoughts, reread with alignment information known as it arises, and pivot as needed. Tunnels are not useful, especially if they're not death tunnels.ShowThat which is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil

Got charisma but bad reads? Convince the rest of the playerlist to play to THEIR strengths. Sort people by using everyone else.
Can someone find a plan for the reverse (good reads but no charisma)?<Embrace The Void>

Can you elaborate on this? I really love this idea, but I don't quite understand how I would do this. I can generally get people to vote whoever with enough effort, but my reads as town are hardly ever very accurate, especially early on where it matters. In post 79, Gamma Emerald wrote:Got charisma but bad reads? Treat everyone (even your scumreads) as people in the conversation. Go against the grain sometimes, just to shake it up, and create a character for yourself (but make sure there's a reason behind it eventually). Also, once you're perceived to be attacking someone or to be in a 1v1, you've lost a lot of credibility, so get the hell outta there. Can someone find a plan for the reverse (good reads but no charisma)?2023 W/L | 1-0 - Aeronaut
