Is that game ongoing? If so, we can't help you, and you shouldn't discuss it.

MafiaScum's rules regarding the discussion of ongoing games can be found here.

Specifically we do not allow this under the following line:
In post 0, T-Bone wrote: It does not matter if you are posting about a game taking place on another forum or posting about an MS game on another forum.
I'd encourage to you check out our wiki. There are a number of strategy articles and pieces of general game play advise that you might find helpful.

From that same post:
The Game Allows Outside Communication

Where a game allows communication, it may be allowed. This must be EXPLICITLY stated in the rules (and as a listmod, we'd appreciate it if game mods would give us a heads up when this is the case).
I think this exception would still apply to games offsite, provided the game does
explicitly
state that outside communication is allowed. Since the original post has been redacted I don't know if that's the case here. I'm guessing probably not, but this point is worth citing for the sake of completeness.

That's not what happened here.

But to be clear, if another site is hosting a game where open discussion is explicitly allowed then the discussion should occur on the site hosting the game. Starting a thread in our Mafia Discussion forum is just roundabout advertising for the other site that point.

To be fair to the OP I get the impression that the motive here was more seeking knowledge and expertise than “roundabout advertising”, especially since he didn’t name the other site in any way other than “a personal site”.
