Video Mafia League

Hi everyone. We don't normally do cross-community stuff, but as this is a little different, we thought we'd see if there's interest. See the message below, but essentially they're looking for 3 players for video mafia. Please note that we are not affiliated with this and while we have looked into it and it seems legitimate, we are not involved and cannot vouch for anything, including if prizes are unpaid. Player beware, in other words.
That said, if you're interested, please PM me. We're looking for more established users hopefully who can represent the site well. Having face-to-face or video mafia experience is a plus!

Thread name: 3 members needed to represent MS at a 5-week inter-community video Mafia league with cash prizes
TL;DR for the time commitment: 2 games a week, each game is ~45 mins, 5 games hosted by the mods every week in the regular season
TL;DR for the setup: Hungarian setup - up to 4 teams (Town, Mafia, Alien, Lovers); alignment (Mafia/not Mafia) is revealed upon death; semi-open (initial game state could be one of many thing due to the Thief role); mandatory executions and night kills after the first night

Hi there!
Liars Club is delighted to announce that we are hosting Season 1 of the Liars Club Mafia League starting October 15! It's a competitive, inter-community, 5-week video Mafia league with cash prizes - a $2000+ total prize pool with at least $300 guaranteed for the winner, as well as lots of smaller prizes in various categories. We're looking to get up to 3 people to represent the MafiaScum community - we'd love to have you, and we leave it up to you on how you want to nominate your representatives. There will be 30-40 people participating in total.

Would also be happy to chat with anyone about the setup/league.
I played in a test session last week. With the video element, multiple communities from different mafia mediums, and their particular setup, it's basically a completely different game from forum mafia and also fairly different from most other live games. It was very fun though!

Oct 15 - Nov 11, Regular season. Nov 12-18 Playoffs.
Every week 1 game on Wednesday, 2 games on Saturday, 2 games on Sunday. Every session starts 8pm EST.
A player needs to play at least 2 games (out of the 5 possible) a week.

If this is the case, those would need to be the 5 fastest games of Mafia a forum has ever seen - the preseason starts Oct. 1 and we think people without video mafia experience would benefit immensely if they can practice both the setup and the format before the actual competing starts
