Anyway, the main question for this thread is "Should a player be forced to participate in a game with a player they do not want to play with?"

I think the answer is clearly "No".

Also I think if you have a blacklist you should keep it private. Waving it in people's faces is just rude. Same with reporting posts.

Sure, with the caveat that it may be necessary to PM it to a game moderator. I used to have a similar policy against hydrae, and the mod replaced a hydra into a game I was playing. It should have been on me to tell the mod before the replacement was made instead of just replacing out and blindsiding the mod.

I think it’s fine for anyone to choose not to play whatever game because they dislike the playerlist for whatever reasons.

I think Trump should ask HC to join his cabinet.

Yes, but what happens when a player is playing the game? Why does the player who was there first have to make the choice between leaving a game they were previously enjoying or staying in a game they will no longer enjoy?

Are you seriously arguing that I don’t have a right to have a different opinion on this? I happen to think I 100% right here and I don’t think it’s cool that you disrespect my right to disagree with you here.

I strongly believe player blacklists are a bad thing and an unnecessarily hurtful way of resolving these types of issues. The fact that other people want to be unquestioning sheep about this, doesn’t remotely make me wrong.

If you seriously think ill of me, because I sincerely and with damned good reason disagree with you. then that would say a lot more about you, then it would me, I think.

If you’re really my friend, you don’t disrespect me by trying to shame me into agreeing with something I sincerely think is bad and harmful. You obviously see it differently but you should at the very least, not try to muzzle my right to express a dissenting opinion - especially one, I feel this strongly about. I would never in a million years, ever do that to you, because I respect your right to disagree with me and I’m genuinely okay with that.

HC spelled out a hypothetical that wasn't referring to you or any individual and called the person who did a specific thing an asshole. not you.

i'm not calling you out for taking an anti-blacklist stance, I'm calling you out for making uncalled for comments towards HC about how he should be on trump's cabinet, etc.
