Lining up chain lynches isn’t scummy, as long as it’s conditional on anticipated flips.
Neither is lurking. That shit’s not alignment-indicative, it’s life-indicative.
Discuss."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

One of those used to really be a thing.
One of those was never a thing."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"- Oversoul

Eh, it depends. If you're pushing a lynch as a genuine scumread while setting up to push another lynch if it flips town, it can very easily belie a lack of reevaluation that is usually present in town. But if you're pushing a lynch for mechanical or PoE reasons, or defending a lynch, there's nothing wrong with lining up another lynch on a townflip.
Varies from person to person. Some people legitimately do put less effort in as scum. For most people you are right.Neither is lurking. That shit’s not alignment-indicative, it’s life-indicative.It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they're always going to have to do from the very beginning... SIT DOWN AND TALK!- Nero Cain

neither of these are hot takes.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I'd prefer just to vig them, saves trouble of convincing half of the playerlist, 1 vig is enough

Ewww. I liked what you said until you mentioned consensus. The Vig is meant to bypass consensus - if they're leashed they're effectively just another lynch, and may be more easily influenced by scum.
Typically the vig can only trust themselves."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

I find it ridiculous to judge vig performance on scum kills only. Vig should help PoE, even if they kill townies. If you can't resolve slot without lynch, that's a perfect vig target - killing someone this way doesn't give extra night for scum as it would happen, if you lynch, so in the end you save 1 townie's life - Ramcius
