Interaction between Kingmaker and Vote Thief

So I was scrolling through old scummies winners for best set up, looking for cool combinations, and I ran across this one:

I noticed that in this set up, there a multiple kingmakers and there is also a vote thief.

How would those two resolve if one player were targeted by both abilities?

Would they be king, but unable to vote (ie, a forced no-lynch day)
Or does the king not vote, so can choose who to execute on the day they are king, but not vote any other day moving forward?

I would be tempted to rule Kingmaker + Vote Thief targeting the same person resulting in the Vote Thief becoming King.

Then again I'm just using Theme logic for this.

The vote thieves in that game seem to be what I think might be called vote blockers now.

As for that game I'm really not sure at the moment actually.

the other interpretation that makes sense to me is that kingmaker + vote thief don't interact: king can still execute, vote thief has two votes. But I still prefer the vote thief is King interpretation.

If variant Silencer (makes you voteless the next day) is used and it does interact with Kingmaker: Kingmaker's ability effectively fails
