The moderator may choose to reroll this card instead of using it. If they do, they should inform the player that would have received this role that they are a benevolent mod and don't truck with excessive bastardry.

Instead of showing the player this card, the moderator chooses any other card in the deck. They may choose a duplicate card. If this card is chosen for role or alignment, ignore all text on any other cards chosen by this player.

At the beginning of Night One, send the player with this role a link to a youtube video of your choosing. At the beginning of each phase, this player gets a random new alignment chosen from among those alignments mentioned on cards in use for this game with an equal chance for each faction, but is not informed of such nor given access to any factional communication.

If two alien cards were discarded, 1 mafia card was chosen, 1 serial killer card was chosen, 3 werewolf cards were chosen, a town "replicant miller" was chosen and 5 VTs were chosen, then Alien, Mafia, Serial Killer, Werewolf, Town, and Replicant are the valid options for alignment, and all of them have a 1/6 chance of being chosen as the role's alignment for a given phase.

If this player chooses to PM the mod a factional action target that they actually have they will successfully perform the action, taking priority over any other action submissions for their faction.

This player will flip as the role card that this card appeared to be. The mod must edit this player's flip at the beginning of each phase to be a different rolecard from the EU Deck of Astral Roles for the remainder of the game.

Kitchen Sink Alignment Renamer (Kitchen Sink / Alignment Renamer)

Alignment: During the Pregame you choose another player. If they are solely town aligned, you become a survivor faction with a shared PT whose win condition is that they win if one of the members of the faction is alive at endgame. If they are another faction or factions, you become a two person faction with all of the factional abilities and winconditions they already had, but unaligned with whatever faction they were previously a part of. The Kitchen Sink faction always wins ties with other factions if they have an exclusive wincondition.

A Kitchen Sink targeting a Mafia Jailkeeper would make the Mafia Jailkeeper into a Kitchen Sink Jailkeeper, with a factional PT and a shared nightkill. The Jailkeeper would no longer be a member of the mafia. Resolve this before giving players access to their factional communication or final role PMs.

Role: As long as you are in the game, all factions must be renamed to be simple nouns. This should not change Role PM colorization or mechanical effects of factions, but should be a purely cosmetic change. Include these changes in any sample roles or discarded cards.

For example, the Mafia could become the Spoon faction, the Werewolves could become George and the Town could become the 314th World Series. Feel free to go wild.

All Role PMs for the entire game will be published at the start of the game except will be redacted as if they were to flip.

If you are part of a scumteam and die, you will be permitted unlimited bah posts that are allowed to contain information pertaining to the identities of your scumpartners. You cannot be punished for gamethrowing in this way as it is "technically part of the bastard mod spirit."

During the night you may target someone to ask politely if you may borrow their night action. Should they accept, you will be able to use your night ability.

Your night ability is to target someone to see their Role PM, unredacted, except for the fact that all URLs may at random contain rickrolls instead. However, your results feedback will not be sent to you. Instead, it will be sent to the mith, the man, and the legend.

The
mith
is, as the name suggests, mith, the owner of mafiascum. Your result PM will be sent to mith. If mith has taken more than two weeks' paid vacation from the site zoraster is also acceptable as a mith substitute. We will also send an agent over to wherever mith last reported his location to confirm with him that he knows he's dipping in to his unpaid vacation days.

man
, as you might suspect, is GeorgeBailey. GeorgeBailey is, undeniably, THE man, and, thus, we must share our findings with him. Your result PM will also be sent to GeorgeBailey. If GeorgeBailey is in this game, even better! If he's not, though, we encourage the moderator to replace him in to the game in a random slot because
he should probably see this.


The
legend
of shellyc is one that's certainly a big one –– she's a Guiness World Record holder for Getting Permanently Banned From MafiaScum. However, we can't send the result PM to shellyc, as she's permanently banned. So, instead, we shall send it to the
Official Shellyc Tribute Account
in the hopes that she will one day return to see it. Actually, in reality, the Official Shellyc Tribute Account (coming soon™) will just be a mod-hydra account of whoever the poor sap that had to mod the game in which this role rolled was and so it's probably redundant but Good RecordKeeping™ to give the mod a copy of your role PM.

If the mod HASN't already gotten banned from this site for running such a bastard role, we recommend you use your Super Secret Ability (located here) to modkill the mod and take over their duties.

Mod Notes: You should replace this role with a card from the Nobody Stays Good thread. The same rules that apply in that thread should apply to this particular card if the role is selected; in particular, fading townies will increase the player's evilness over time. The player receiving the role card should be sent all three roles including the good, chaotic, and evil roles.


As a side note, I think that setup/deck is a really cool idea and would like to see more there. I do think it would be better if your purity goes down only if you specifically fade town (as in on the wagon) and goes back up if you fade scum.

Each night you may submit X targets.
- If you have a kill available to you - including Factional Kills - You will use it at random on one of these targets if they visited another player.
- If you do not have a kill available to you, you will roleblock one target of your targets at random instead.
You are notified how many of your targets visited another player, but not who.


X is moderator discretion, I'd suggest 2 or 3. Larger games might want to increase that. Other kills cannot multitask with this ability.

Each night, you may investigate a player to see who they were targeted by. If they were targeted by a nightkill that shows up on Watcher reports, you will be informed of this and gain a 1-shot Mysterious Conduit invention (You may target a player to charge them with a mysterious energy).

Mod Note: Mysterious energy charge lasts indefinitely.

Still, have fun figuring out what being charged with a mysterious energy does.
