i'm trying to be realistic

i have a somewhat long ruleset, but one of the rules in the tl;dr *and* a bolded rule in the first section is "do not request replacements in thread, do not threaten to rep out, do not tell other players to rep out" and i still feel like people routinely break those rules anyway, despite not only being twice in my ruleset in the most visible spots, but also being part of sitewide rules for like 2 years now?

the "include whether vocaroos are allowed in your game" would probably be small text at the bottom of a listmod instructions pm and you can't tell me most people wouldn't zoom right past it and it wouldn't either end up being extra work (for whatever poor soul is tasked to check rulesets) or as if nothing happened
I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”

How’s this work exactly?
I try to keep this as short and concise as possible.

The avg human speech is between 85hz - 255hz, so you encode your hidden data to an audio signal with a different frequency (i.e > 5000hz), then combine it with your recorded voice audio.

To recover the hidden data, fourier transform the combined audio signal to convert to its frequencies, filter out the low frequencies (< 255hz), or, depending on how noisy the signal is, can also use a band pass filter to only extract the frequencies around 5k hz. Then, apply inverse fourier transform to convert back to an signal with only the encoded hidden data. Decode it to get back original data.

There are many tools that convert data to audio, and those that filter audio by frequencies.

-which is good and all, but it's also generally banned from most mafia games.

the difference is control of data, data in the form of text is stored on mafiascum databases. If people try to hide something in text, they cannot modify or remove that evidence later, or if they try, that get caught

in contrast, data in the form of audio or video is not stored here, only referenced by its link to other domains (like youtube), so mafiascum has no control over this data

Then it should be policy to post anything that can't be directly slapped onto MS onto a site which doesn't allow the users to change the data itself, only delete it. If a player encrypts something and then later deletes the encrypted video, they will automatically be presumed guilty.
