Newbies Firing Group

Hi.

I'd like to start a group that's dedicated to helping fire Newbie games. They're pretty normal and pretty balanced games and I think it'd help newbie retention on the site if more of us semi-experienced folk signed up for them.

The SE pool is currently very small for Newbies. That's what this is pretty much dedicated to.

If you'd like to help, you can do so by:

Telling other people about this.
Joining the Newbie queue if you have a spare moment or a clear schedule.

newbie moderators seem to be at a low point right now, too, though that part of the queue tends to fluctuate

I think se slots tend to fill pretty fast, but there aren't enough newbies sometimes.

Yeah if there aren't enough newbies maybe we should allow more SEs after signups have gone on however long so those newbies can go ahead and play.

Appreciate this thread and the suggestion. This is something that I currently do (with a minimum requirement of four newbies); however, up until very recently the SE portion of the queue has been low to the point that I haven't been able to.

Most recent Newbie fired with 4 SEs.

This could be a change for the better.
