If your target declines the offer, doesn't respond, or if you were blocked that night, you will receive no result.

Specter Day Ghost
(Specter alignment / Day Ghost role)

The Specters are a groupscum faction that starts off with 1 or 2 players (similar to the cult leader) and are dead. Yes! They start off in the graveyard where they must remain until they have collected the souls of 1/4 minus 1 of the total players to win the game. In example, if the game started with 21 players, then 4 souls must be collected to win.

The Specters have a factional “Sleep Paralysis” action that they can target a player that is alive with. Players under sleep paralysis cannot perform any night actions, they cannot communicate in PTs that night and they are informed of what types actions they are targeted by (excluding those from specters). If a player is killed while under “Sleep Paralysis, their soul is collected by the Specter faction, joining them in the graveyard.

During the day you have the factional vote action. You can select a player to have an extra vote for that day. This vote is not announced that is coming from your faction.

Specters can never perform kill actions.

If a Specter is targeted by a player with an ability to interact with the dead or are resurrectedby living players, the entire faction loses the game.

Day Ghost
: At the start of every day, target a player to inflict them with Sleep Paralysis. If the target gets eliminated, you recruit them to your ghostly faction (target keeps their role after dead in this case).

Demon is an alignment that can only win with groupscum aligned parties that share a PT and can only have passive/reflexive roles. In addition, they have the ability to reverse engineer active items and weapons that they get from other parties into passive ones.

Anti-Elemental
: You are immune to actions that target you with elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth).
You reflexively kill anyone targeting you with an element as well.

Troll Purple Goo
(Troll / Purple Goo)

Troll is an independent third party that wins when they have converted every player that remains alive to a different third than their own at least once. You lose when you can't obtain your wincon or you ended up targeting yourself with your factional for some reason. Trolls cannot co-exist in the same game, so they have to be converted for you to win.

Factional:
Every night you may target a player to convert them to a third party faction of your choice (that exists in the DoAR multiverse). You also passively convert your visitors to a random third party.


Purple Goo:
The Purple Goo will passively and reflexively cause their role to be switched with any player targeting it at night. I.e. if a Cop targets the Purple Goo, the Cop will become Purple Goo and the former Purple Goo player will become Cop. Since the Purple Goo's ability is passive, it will also work on Roleblockers that target it.

I have a few ideas:
Would a role that targets a player and wins if that player targets them back be a good idea? (
Siren

Would a role that selects a player pre-game and loses if that player wins be a good idea? (

What about Hater but inverse (they win if the targetted player wins) (
Ally
)
Would a groupscum that are all lovers with each other and have a (normal) factional protect that CAN target members within the group be a good idea? (

Maybe a role that wins and exits if they learn every living player's role? (

)
A groupscum with a factional vanillize and wins if every living player is vanillized? (

Underdog Mirrored Dome (Underdog Alignment // Mirrored Dome Role)

Underdogs inherit the alignment of the first eliminated player.

Mirrored dome: You may target a player at night. Any action that player takes is instead targeted at themselves. Any action targeting that player instead targets the person taking the action. Your dome is very fragile, and if any killing actions target your target or your target takes a killing action, you will die. (Dying this way does not stop the reflection of actions)



Hater/Ally are variants off of Condemner/Savior and so should work well. The player choosing the target introduces swing and isn’t advisable in a closed, but works fine here. Siren might be trivial, but isn’t really bad. Outsider is probably way underpowered. Bogey should probably have to name post numbers and be limited to one guess per night, but seems fine. Anarchist seems like a weak name for that faction (the faction is anti swing not pro swing) but the faction itself is reasonable.

Forgot to mention that Bogey has a Full Role Cop action. Does that make it better?

: Each night, you may target a player to attempt to kill them.

Alignment (Anarchist)
: A third party that grants an alternate win condition to all third parties in the game. If there is at least one Anarchist at the beginning of the game, all third party aligned players are given the Anarchist win condition in addition to their normal wincon. This adds "Anarchist" to their role card. Anarchists win when all non-third party players are dead. Anarchists do not count as a groupscum faction.

Anarchists do not share a PT or know each other's identities, however, they are granted the following night ability. An Anarchist may this ability in conjunction with their pre-existing role's abilities at night, as if they were Multi-tasking.

Target a player at night. If they are groupscum, town, or nowt, all Anarchists are immune to that player's role and kills for the remainder of the game, including passive abilities, as if they were vanillaized. However, if they are an Anarchist, join a private thread with them at the beginning of the following day. If one of you is already in an anarchy thread, add whoever is missing from that thread to it.

Additionally, if multiple Anarchists target a non-Anarchist player on the same night, they both attack that player.

How is this for Anarchist? (The idea being to take *everyone* in the game down, rather than remove everyone in the game's abilities as a pirate would do)

: While you are alive, dead players are not automatically added to the dead chat and are instead added to the Medium PT, a chat consisting of you and the dead players that is only open during night phases. At any time a dead player may PM the moderator to remove themself from the Medium PT and allow them to join the Dead PT.

Once per game during any phase, you may seance a player in the Medium PT back into the game as a treestump. After your death, you are treestumped and the Medium PT closes, putting all of its members in the Dead PT for good. If you hadn't used your seance yet, you may choose a player to seance as the Medium PT closes.

Circle File Amnesiac Watcher (Circle File Alignment // Amnesiac Watcher Role)

Circle File: As soon as the discards are made public you may choose one to be your alignment. If for some reason the discards aren't made public, the mod chooses one for you. This does not count as changing your alignment or being recruited for game effects, as you do not have an alignment before this choice is made.

Amnesiac Watcher: Each night you may target a player. A random player will receive a list of the players who targeted your target, but not what roles they have. You will not show up on this list. They will not be told who you targeted.

You should include both the Amnesiac Watcher and the target of the Watcher ability when randomly determining who receives the results. A new random player should be chosen every night the amnesiac watcher acts. The watcher should not be informed of who received their results.

The note about the Bogey was more an implementation thing than an issue with the alignment itself. If the player has to guess post numbers or role names (might be better, given Vanilla Roles), that provides a tangible proof that they know everyone's role and thus have won. And if they're not limited on when they can guess then they just spam the mod with guesses until they're right. The addition of a rolecop is fine either way, imo.

This protect will protect from only one elimination which can be by a kill or by the Town's day elimination. (if someone get's protected by the day elimination, a death message will not occur nor will a flip occur either)

You and your faction win and exit the game when you successfully prevent 2 eliminations from occuring.

You are unable to be protected from kills.

You may use multiple actions at the same time.

Each night, you will learn whether or not that player is vanilla; if they are vanilla, you will also protect them from all non-Strongman kills that Night. This ability does NOT count towards the faction win condition

Can you include a cap for conversion roles? Too many of these could lead to predictable and boring mass-conversion games.
