Best Role Ideas?

Like worst role ideas, except good.
You are the
Roid Rage SK
. Each night you may chose to kill another player. Because of your impressive physique you can easily take on two other dudes at once, so in order to be nightkilled or lynched it takes at least 3 people working together (3 killing roles have to target him to kill him at night). You win by being the last person left alive (you endgame at 3 players instead of 2).
If there was another attempt at this thread, I apologize... I don't remember seeing one.

So obv this would be for large games?
Sounds interesting, and funny. Should name it juggernaut or something.

I hope this qualifies...
You are a
Mediator
, neither condoning nor permitting violence wherever possible. If at the end of a given day you do not have a standing vote against someone, you may choose to act as a Doctor or a Roleblocker that night. You may not act as the same role toward the same person on consecutive nights, nor can you apply either role to yourself. You may cast a vote against someone during the day, but you must unvote before the end of the day to be permitted to use your Night Action. You win with the Town.

You are
the Fallen
. Your partners are _. Each night you and your partners may talk and have 1 night kill. Although any investigation or lynch will reveal a result of scum, you win with the town.
(Maybe this should be in the other one?)

You are a DNA TESTING COP.
Each night, you can either examine a murder scene to attempt to find DNA evidence of the killer, or you can attempt to get a DNA sample off a person in the town to see if it matches up with any of the murders you have a record of.
For example, if Seol dies night 1, then on night 2 you can investigate his body to get a DNA sample of his killer. Night 3, you can either investigate someone who's alive (and you will either get a result of "The killer of Seol" or "Not the killer of Seol"), or you can investigate the murder scene of someone who was killed on night 2.
You win with the town.

You are a
Stumper SK
. Each night you may choose someone to Stump. They will lose their vote, their night action, and will not count for endgaming purposes. They may still post during the day, and their alignment is revealed. You win when you're the last man standing.
(Mafia kill normally)

Gravedigger/Undertaker - Seen targeting dead player(s) each night. Original credit goes to Trojan Horse
.
Funny version - Necrophiliac - seen targeting person killed LAST night every night.
I like the DNA cop. It has a slow start, but can determine multiple kills in one night if the situation is right. Can also get a good map of the game later on. Although it is more of a big game role, since mini's might not get past 4/5 nights where the role would really take off (1 or 2 bodies and a bunch of suspects).

Yeah, DNA cop would be a role for a large game.
And yeah, I've seen that necrophiliac type role before...basically, it's a miller for trackers, heh.
Lol @ PJ: That would rock. I want that role.
"Hey, PJ, I know you're not playing in this mini, but I'm a mason with you anyway. So, you figure out who the scum is yet?"

I like this role, but I think it should have an added bonus something along the lines of:
"If you have obtained DNA samples from multiple murders, you may also find out which of these match with each other."

As for the DNA cop, how about md5-hashing (with a seed obviously) the player name and returning that, the DNA cop can then compare the hashes himself..
N1: PlayerX (Dead Body) was murdered by someone with the DNA signature 1a8f43915f2748d3e639439793205d21.
N2: You checked PlayerZ, he has DNA signature 17f5b7e447dfca3b832f5b2411b76538
and so on (this was produced by hashing "123<PlayerName>" where the murderer was PlayerY..)
Although you can also just assign random 10 character strings before the game starts to each player or whatever.

I can't tell if DNA Cop is more or less powerful than a regular Cop. I think that's a good thing.

You are an
Internet Mason
. You may talk you your allies at night, but you do not know their identities. If you reveal your identity online, you will be raped and murdered by an online predator, so don't. PMs can be sent to the Mod.

How would messages be identity-blocked? forced alt creation? speaking on another forum?

Oh, it's a lot weaker. Especally since it can't find all the mafia members, only ones who have made a kill. Which also means the DNA cop can't really ever clear anyone of being in the mafia, so it dosn't generate confirmed innocents the way a regular cop does. Throw in the added confusion of a possible pro-town vig making some of those kills, and the fact that he won't get any results until at least day 3, the DNA cop is one of the weakest "sane and useful" investigative roles I've seen. At least, that was what I was aiming for.
Edit: Yeah, somestrangeflea, you could also tell the DNA cop that "person A and person B were murdered by the same killer"; that would fit from a flavor point of view, and would add another nice level of subtle information gathering. I like it.
