Troll's reading of it was that the hypnotist was the only winner if them won. The hypnotized minions would then just be mindless tools. The win condition of those that were hypnotized no had changed; them would lose even if the hypnotist won. Perhaps that no was intended though.
It the role were revealed it would probably be worth adding a hypnotized prefix in death scenes to let everyone in the game know that it be something to be aware of. E.g.
Zorblag, (hypnotized) townie, was lynched Day Three
Troll also assumed that the hypnotist could "recruit" either scum or town. Perhaps that has been covered.
In any case it probably no be a role that Troll would be fond of in a closed setting even though it be interesting. It might be more viable in the semi-open discussions that be happening in other threads as then there be some warning.
