I know I’m not the target audience for this question since I’m still fartin’ around in the Newbie Queue for a bit longer, but my suggestion would be something that YOU are passionate about. You won’t find a flavor that the majority or possibly any of the players for your game are both familiar and passionate about. Pick something that intrigues you, and your interest in whatever you choose will likely inspire you to go all out with the flavored posts, and as a result, your players will take interest.

Then again, a lot of players don’t really pay attention to flavor in Newbies/Normals, so maybe don’t overthink it. You could always browse through the completed newbie games for ideas. Some of the regular mods there always flavor their games, and some don’t at all. The ones that do seem to pick things that they themselves are interested in.

My only suggestion is if you post videos in VC's please spoiler them so mobile users do not die loading the mod ISO.

Memes and funny shit always make for an enjoyable flavor, but nice pictures or fun facts about some subject are also good.

Have a plan before you start

By which I mean, don’t just say “I wanna do X flavor” and not have prep work done beforehand. Make lists of things you want to feature, and make it a long list. You might overshoot the amount of VCs you need, so prioritize bits you want to focus on the most.
