eh for real I'm surprised how well you took on the feedback from last game, maybe. I can tell in hindsight that you played to an agenda. I felt you swimming against the tide a couple of times. But when I went back to look for it i couldn't see it as clearly as I could in our last game.

The later replacement might have aided this so don't get too confident, I'll catch u next time >:C

but the other thing I wanted to say is you did really well in subverting linear improvement too. Like you didn't just play an agenda driven game while trying to look cute. Your explanation outburst at the end of d4 makes me think you were actually really deliberate and careful about the way you approached how you handled the game. It's hard to put it into words exactly; I wasn't expecting you to adapt your scumgame to be as considered as it felt this time round.

I think you intuited something about the memory test as well which is basically...confidence > accuracy.

I'll think on of I have any suggestions for improvement. Generally, well played! Also I'm angry and I'm uninviting you to my birthday party.

I promised many things and FAILED

I did try my best to go into this operating under the assumption that the weaker arguer was town, and reach a solve via earlygame rather than hyperfocus on the machinations of the lategame.

I did listen to MUSH a bit (I didn't really read Shelly's cases in a bunch of detail because whatever) but I fucked this up entirely on my own, I promise.

I think we might need to give some credit to the earlier players in shelly's slot for that too: TiramisuCake and Willowsaura both colored the slot very townie in combination with shelly's play. Willow was playing a game that was a definite scum loss long term, but combined with TiramisuCake's weirdly aggressive really early bus on one side and Shelly on the other, the overall effect looked really, really good.

Clark was our second weakest player, but he had some really good reads in hindsight! His play mostly failed at convincing other players and coalescing with the town, which led to a vicious cycle of bad reads for him and others.

I maybe should have replaced out. Much of my mental energy this past week was devoted to keeping my family safe and escaping hazardous conditions. I shared my reads and opinions, but it seemed my posts were being ignored. At best they were being grossly misrepresented. I asked direct questions that went unanswered. I explained actions and provided evidence to no effect. To be frank, I feel like some players in this game loved the sound of their own voices and disregarded others. I implored players to engage in critical thinking, but mechanics and what "roles" people wanted themselves and others to fit into seemed to win the day. And lose the game.
