The thing is that I don't see why you would see expending effort as scum indicative. Town is supposed to expend effort. Scum therefore have incentive to expend effort. So, effort is NAI.

Checking in, don't have a lot of time because I'm moving out of my apartment today and my internet was down last night, but two things I want to say.

One. That Persivul saying that people with scummy playstyles should get lynched amounts to victim blaming. It essentially argues that it's not someone's fault for being wrong and overly confident, and that it's the responsibility of others to make sure they don't make people wrong and overly confident. Yes, it is possible for the target to share some of the blame, but the majority of it must go with the person who was wrong, especially if they've seen this person act that way before.

And two. In response to a question about why I found Lamees' self-contradiction towny. Either she didn't notice those two statements contradicted or she did. If she didn't, then she was saying whatever she wanted without any care as to how it was perceived. If she did, then she cared more about getting genuine thoughts out than she did about looking consistent and superficially good.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Consider:

Smite (reactive)
When an angel dies, the skies will open up and strike a creature of its
choosing. Unliving targets will be slain.

Angelic kills work in a similar way to priest and witch hunter investigations. They kill
undead and ghost-possessed creatures, but spare non-undead and immortals.

The smite is in effect a cop investigation, as long as we know who the target of the smite is before the angel dies. So we lynch Lamees and:
1. She was scum who felt pressure and gambled that town hadn't roled an Angel, or

2. She's an angel and she smites rb. Then:
2a. If rb dies, great - he was scum.
2b. If rb lives, then he's pretty much conftown. 342 doesn't seem likely from an immortal, who would want an investigation on himself. Then scum have incentive to kill you, although they have to consider the possibility of protection.

Having players mindlessly tunnelling me while not being serious is just gonna waste day 1 time on a town PR, so I claimed in order to not get to final day with L-1, as that is more likely to look like a scum gambit and also that's a lot of time wasted.
