Also, if you read the claim post, it reads like frustrated town with the game stagnating. Claiming Vengeful to move the game forward.

I'm aware that you're most likely Cultist, yes. You could be Leader though, right? Like, you were decently enough town read that your Venge claim would be believed by enough people and we would go down the route of not elimming in the Venge pool.

I can see now RH is probably real Vengeful. So if we get Jacket/Nathann out today, they can shoot the other if wrong and we at least get a confirmed Cultist out (hopefully the sus Leader!)

If we do Vengefuls, we elim Nathan. There is a small chance he thought he had the town cred to pull of a Vengeful CC as CL.

Nathan voting Beat is interesting given they had them as a light town read in the early game.

He hasn't gone for a Titus/Cat type player, or even Bella. But someone he was town reading.

So one of them is most likely a non-Leader Cultist.

My thoughts are that, while the Cult Leader claiming Vengeful would really be a funny gambit, it gambles that the Town will never agree to start killing within the CC's. So overall, I find it unlikely.

So if we believe that the Leader wouldn't claim Vengeful, then it's optimal to ignore the CC's and keep trying to find them.

As I said, I don't really mind being eliminated, since it's better than no elimination, and I get to shoot. Though fair warning, I will likely not be shooting between the Vengeful claims.

Hm. If he thought the Vengefuls would claim at some point, then it makes sense to go first. That makes it less likely he gets eliminated first, and rather likely he gets Vengekilled. Which is a double win: a confirmed Townie is out, AND the Cult gets to recruit.

Or, the Vengefuls shoot each other, which is also good. You get my point.

No. I didn't think about this game much in the past few days, then earlier today I got reminded that they exist, and it made me realize they can be someone who's trying to fly under the radar. So they can get my vote for the time being.

I don't remember Titus looking like she's trying to look Townie, that's the difference. Cat can be a candidate for Cult Leader, sure.

Bella can be Townie for not wanting to go within the CC's.

Cat has just had content that's pretty inoffensive but that made it seem like they're trying to have some sorta presence. There's not much more than that; I don't have a great case on them or anything.

Bbt, there was just something in the theory talk between them that really didn't seem to flow - it seemed like one of them would say something and the other would just be like... sure! Compared to some heat cat got, or how confused enchant made me at the start of the game with mech talk, it just felt informed? In my newbie with cat recently there was a chat between her and goldfish that I hated - goldfish ended up replacing out and I ended up scum reading cat - but the scum was the goldfish slot.

Part of it might be the softs, but I'm not sure it's all of it.

Did you want me to talk more about cat? I basically scum read them early gamw for a lot of things I used to/still do get scum read for, which is basically being non offensive, and I was wrong. They, Ans Titus, were more active than this though. I think if we are going to elim in the quiet slots then Titus is it for me.

Like, you've decided that cult 'play like x' but I think nathaan is townie, then you've shoved me in the same slots as korina and Titus who've posted a lot less content than me. Like, there's a solid 5ish players that have between 30-41 posts, and then only you above that.

I think you might be jumping at shadows? I don't think scum leader bbt has this many casual bad takes.
