have you looked at what hut actually did? do I have to spell it out? the "content" given is not something that helps with reads, it's like "I'm here... look at me!!! I'm doing stuff!!" but like, I didn't like the posts.. I'll say it again. Why does whether I TR or SR Vulture matter to hut? hut only commented on like 3 things. Datisi and Ari knowing each other, my read on vulture, and something else I don't remember. TOWN... reading the game would have actual stuff to comment on

Generally, I agree with you. However, some people just take time to get into a game, which is why I asked about meta. It's kind of a stupid point if this is how hut just plays as town. It's clear you didn't check, so I will just do it myself later I guess

i think andante is probably town for now, the way she sometimes gets knocked down a little by someone finding her suspicious or something but she keeps popping back up anyway makes me feel like she's excited to be here and solve things. still think the fear of wagons early was weird but ive wrongly scumread town andante for a very similar feeling in the past

datisi feels like town to me, probably. mild worry that it could be bc he's going out of his way to seem town, but we'll save that for later, he can be town for now

gamma feels a little scummy to me, feels more like trying to establish presence than hunt scum

still think penguin's posting was awkward but the read feels too much like certain early reads of mine that often end up being wrong for me to care strongly about it

i don't think i really have strong feelings on anyone else yet. in general not a lot has stood out for me from this game so far, which is kinda odd, but happens sometimes. maybe i should feel some sort of connection to gamma feeling similarly re: blandness and townread him for that, idk

Re: your town cases - it's not so much about me having an issue with you making town reads. It's more that your reasoning seems extremely flimsy (blah blah, early game etc).

i don't think anything. i don't do reaction tests with the idea of what a scum or a town response would be. i just do things i feel like could give me ai material and then see what happens after them.

All of it more or less, you've more-or-less snowed me before as scum iirc so I'm loath to locktown you but you feel earnest, the way you're interacting with the thread looks genuinely interested to me, etc. I don't actually have like, a comprehensive picture of your meta; I guess if anything I'd be townreading you more if I had no meta on you. It's also motivated partially by me thinking that you/VP interactions feel town coming from you in the context of knowing at least some of the meta history between you two with guardians (e.g. it makes sense for you to be pushing him and to be suspecting him for the things you're suspecting him for IMO, and I also agree with a lot of those things)

And regarding my vote on VP I have described it a bit; it's a combination of thinking that you've made some decent points against him/feeling like the pushes he's making would make more sense against other slots if he's town, and feeling shady about his bravado in the context of how he's using it which idk if I'll be able to explain well (I previously said I'm not sure how to interpret this wrt his alignment but it still rubs me the wrong way).

Tbh I'm like, a little bit surprised that VP hasn't attacked me back yet, as town or as scum. I think it surprises me a little more if he's town; I kind of expected to be lumped in as the third in his Andante/Datisi/??? solve with how I've acted toward those slots. The way he's been acting toward my slot feels maybe scum-indicative; he's engaging with me some but also kind of ignoring substantive engagement with me. I don't think it's super indicative of anything up to this point but I'm interested to see how it plays out. I'm by no means like sold on VP scum or anything.
