2. The Golden Rule: Have fun. Remember that it's just a game.
3. Play to your win condition. Deliberately hurting your team will not be tolerated.
4. Don't talk about this game outside of the thread or any mod-designated locations while it's still ongoing. The same applies for all other ongoing games, even ones you aren't included in. This is a very serious rule and you can get banned for breaking it.
5. Don't impersonate the moderator.

6. Don't quote or screenshot any part of a PM from me or a message from anyone in a mod-sanctioned chat.
7. Don't use cryptography or hidden text (breadcrumbing is fine). This includes super-small and invisible text. Spoiler tags/buttons are allowed.
8. When you're dead, you're dead. You can make a "Bah" post after you die, but it
can not
include any game-related content. If you're wondering whether something is acceptable, it's better to ask me first. Otherwise, you should probably avoid it.
9. Keep toxicity out of here. Aggressiveness is fine in the spirit of the game, but don't make it personal and don't harass people.
10. Feel free to get my attention by putting

next to anything you want to point out or have answered, but realize there are certain questions that I won't answer.
11. Remember that if you don't follow the rules, I reserve the right to force-replace you, or even modkill you if your slot compromises the game. I'm a pretty lenient guy and will probably warn you first depending on how severe the violation is, but it's much better if you just don't go down that road at all.
Mechanics
12. Days will last 2 weeks by default, and Nights will last 48 hours. I might give a deadline extension in case of a late replacement. If all living players PM me requesting a faster night, I'll end it soon after actions have been sent in.
13. This game uses Thesp's votecounter. Please use voting tags to vote for people (ex: VOTE: Agent Sparkles). If you don't know how, just type [ v ]Player[ /v ] without the spaces or use the vote button in the preview settings. Try not to mess up your votes and confuse the counter.
14. A basic majority (just over half of the alive players) is required for a lynch. If deadline approaches with no majority, the day will end without a lynch regardless of who has the most votes.
15. Once a player is hammered (receives the majority vote), the
Twilight
phase starts. The doomed player can continue participating during this time, but the lynch will be locked in even if someone unvotes. The day will end immediately as soon as I check the thread.
16. Players aren't required to use their night actions unless otherwise stated. If you don't send anything in before the night ends, you won't take an action.
17. I will accept votes and actions past the deadline as long as I haven't locked or updated the thread yet. After that, I can't make any exceptions short of fixing a mod error.
Activity
18. You have 72 hours after receiving your role PM to confirm it by replying to me. If you don't, I'll have to replace you.
19. If you don't post for 48 hours during the day phase, I'll prod you and let you know that you have 24 hours left to return to the thread. You'll be replaced if you run down this timer or if you get prodded three times.
20. In most cases, a player that would normally be replaced can keep playing if they come back before I find a replacement.
21. If you're going to have limited access to the game, you can announce
V/LA
and I'll temporarily freeze your prod timer. Make sure to let me know when it's over, or just say how long ahead of time.
22. You can always request replacement if you can't or don't want to keep playing, although I'd only really recommend it as a last resort.

This game uses the Friends and Enemies setup. The setup has normal roles and mechanics.
