An undecorated room, dull colors abound. A nondescript analogue wall clock and an industrial metal chute are the only features to be seen on the blank concrete walls. The bare fluorescent tubes that populate the ceiling provide the only source of light.
Toward the back of the room, several sleeping pods are installed. On several of them, an open hatch with a glass window beckons. The others are sealed shut.
The nurse leads you to one of the open pods and gestures toward it.
"This is where you'll be sleeping. I know it looks uncomfortable, but just try to relax and you'll be asleep in no time. And remember the treatment is airborne, so make sure you close the hatch after you get in."
You weren't sure what to expect when you signed up for an experimental sleep treatment, but whatever it is, it can't be worse than the sleepless nights you've experienced all your life.
"Do you have any other questions?"
No, you suppose not.
"Good, have a good night's sleep whenever you're ready then! And don't let the bed bugs bite."
She walks quickly toward the door and exits the room. The door clangs shut behind her, and a couple seconds later, you think you hear a click.
You quickly confirm that the door is locked, and a sense of panic sets in. You start knocking on the door, but to no avail.
Your rational side tells you to calm down, that someone will be back to unlock the door in the morning, and to go try to sleep. As you pace around the room, instinctively looking for alternative exits, you notice the faces of other patients fast asleep inside each of the closed pods.
Feeling distinctly creeped out but resigned to your situation, you eventually step inside your pod, pull the hatch shut, and close your eyes. Several minutes elapse, and then you hear a hissing sound as an organic, foul-smelling gas starts to fill the pod. Within a couple seconds, you lose consciousness.
A single night occurs after the first mafia is lynched. Dead mafia are allowed to talk in the PT but only at night.
Town immediately wins if any two mafia are dead.

Votecounts will be generated semi-automatically. Votes must use valid VOTE: or UNVOTE: tags.
VOTE: ruru
is not a vote. VOTE: unvote is not an unvote. Votes should use a player's full name, correctly spelled (case-insensitive), or an unambiguous substring (e.g. VOTE: uru). Unvotes need not specify a name.
7-day deadlines are in effect. Nights last 48 hours, or until all players unanimously vote by PMing the moderator to end the night.
Plurality lynch is in effect. In case of a tie, the wagon whose latest vote was earliest will be chosen. If there are no votes at EOD, town loses the game.
Prod timer is 36 hours. Players will be replaced if they are prodded twice or if they fail to acknowledge a prod within 24 hours. If a player is replaced, the deadline will be extended by the amount of time elapsed starting either from that player's last post in the game thread or from their request to be replaced and ending when a replacement is found. Players who replace out without a good reason will be strongly discouraged from signing future games.
No cryptography, provable randomness, or hard-to-read text. I will be strict about this.
Don't quote private mod or game communication, or the timestamp of said communication, outside of its medium. As an exception, you may quote yourself, unless it contains text that you yourself haven't written, and you may quote from anywhere into your scum PT. Everything else must be paraphrased in a manner that clearly indicates it is a paraphrase.
Don't pretend to break the rules.

You wake up feeling unusually refreshed. As you open the hatch and climb out of your pod, you see the rest of the patients are also just climbing out.
Someone walks over to inspect the door. It's still locked. "Try it again", someone uselessly suggests. Turns are taken. The door remains locked.
An awkward, paranoid silence sets over the room.
Near the chute, you notice a typed slip of paper lying on the floor and pick it up. The others crowd around you. It reads:
Nine subjects, chosen randomly: six green, three red.
One red must depart before you sleep again.
As you finish reading, your focus shifts to the chute in front of you. You notice two lights off to the side that you hadn't noticed before, one red and one green.
You can also make out some handwriting, crudely scratched into the chute's faceplate. It spells out a single word:
"HEAVEN"
