Rules
Read them and know them. You are responsible for knowing ALL rules.
1.Outside Communication- Outside communication is forbidden unless your role allows it. If your role does not SPECIFICALLY state that you may discuss the game outside of the game, YOU MAY NOT do so. Unauthorized outside communication will result in an instant mod-kill if proven. (proven meaning I have enough reason to believe it happened). This rule stands even when dead. See site rules for more information.
1a. Mafia Discussion threads are NOT a part of this game. Do not post there looking for advice on this game. If I have reason to believe that any posts you make in Mafia Discussion are made for help in this game, you will be mod killed. Please notify me if you believe a player has done this.
1b. If you unintentionally obtain more information about the game/setup than you should, you are not at fault. If you do this and stay in the game, you ARE at fault. Let me know if this happens and I will replace you to avoid compromising the game. This includes but is not limited to: getting a read on a player based on something said outside of this game, receiving a PM from a player in the game about the game, receiving a PM from me meant for someone else with game information.
2. Voting- Voting should be in the following format.

. Vote tags or Bolding is required. Unvoting is not required, but is helpful.
2a. Shortened or abbreviated names are acceptable as long as it is common knowledge who you mean. If a username is ISuckAtThis game, voting for "ISuck" or "ISATG" is acceptable. Voting for "bad player" or "Billy" is not.
3. Night Actions- Night actions should be in within the amount of time that I have given. If deadline expires and no action is in, your action will be forfeited.
3a. If all players, including those with no action, PM me saying they'd like an accelerated night, I will open the thread as soon as I receive the final PM.
4.Quoting- Do NOT post anything with exact quotes to anything given to you privately by either myself or another player (if your role allows this). You may paraphrase VERY LOOSELY, but no quoting. Don't quote anything from PMs, PTs, or any other way you may be communicating with the Mod and/or other players. If you are unsure of paraphrasing, contact me before posting it. If you are modkilled for quoting outside communication, it is your own fault.
4a. If any paraphrasing is questionably close to quoting, I reserve the right to modkill although I'm likely to issue a warning first if it doesn't hurt the game.
5.Twilight - You may talk until I lock the thread. You are not dead until I say so. That means that if you have been killed, but I haven't made it to the thread yet, you may still post.
6. Lynching- Lynching will require a majority vote (7 alive means 4 will lynch.) I will remind you in every vote count how many votes it takes to lynch. In case of a deadline, there will be NO LYNCH. Every vote count will also include the deadline.
7. Activity- I will send out prods to any player who hasn't posted in 48 hours (not including weekends). I will also prod by request from another player. I will replace anyone who doesn't respond to a prod within 72 hours (not including weekends). I understand this is generous. By signing up, you commited yourself to playing this game. Please treat the game that way. If you get replaced, do not join my games in the future.
7b. I will never prod or replace someone for V/LAs announced beforehand. Please PM me or post in thread for extended V/LAs. I may not notice signatures.
8. Deadlines- Day 1, you will have 10 days. All following days will be 7 days unless 4 players or less remain, in which case you get 5 days. Nights will last 48 hours unless ALL players PM me requesting an accelerated night. These are all approximate and may be adjusted to a time when I am available to lock/unlock the thread. I will always add time rather than take it away in those cases.
9. When you are dead, do not post anything else. I prefer no "bah" posts, because information can be unintentionally revealed, however won't go nuts if one is made that doesn't do this.
10. If you fake breaking a rule, it will incur the same punishment as actually breaking the rule. (rule shamelessly stolen from Farside22)
11. If you believe I have made a small mistake, for example, in a vote count, please point it out in thread. If you have a more serious grievance for some reason, talk to me privately. Leave it out of the game topic. (also stolen, but slightly re-worded, from Farside)
12. My word is final. If you have a problem with it, see rule 11.
13. Play to win.
14. Have fun and allow others to do the same.
15. Do not use
It is my color. All use of this color will be edited. I understand if you are doing some kind of analysis with fancy colors and it happens by accident, but DO NOT try to pass yourself off as me by use of my color.
16. No small text, invisible text, or other hidden text. Exception is spoilered text because site meta makes this a nightmare to enforce.
17. Flavor, such as lynch scenes, day starts, flavor in vote counts, etc., is flavor and nothing more. It is off the top of my head and doesn't give any game info. Don't use flavor to attempt to determine things such as a player's alignment or setup info.
18. All site rules apply.
19. I reserve the right to add rules if necessary. Everyone will be notified if I do so.
