I think putting active people in the party is a reasonable idea - I'd lean toward active and seeming townie too.

Please explain the party mechanics to me in a quick manner. re: its permanence and how scum interact with it. And how many rooms we can form (total and per day) and if death of a member destroys a room.

My understanding: There is only one party, we can add members to it, but can't take them out. If scum have to enter to leave the party to make a kill, they are outed by the mod.

That's not what I was getting at, more that it would create a division in the town, between active players - more likely scum targets for a nightkill, and the inactive players, then if an active player is killed, we get confirmation that not all the active player are town, and by keeping the group smaller, we isolate scum more quickly.
