I am the mod.

I reserve the right to change or add rules, and will inform the players of this. I reserve the right to make the final decision in problematic circumstances and rules infractions, potentially including force replacements, or modkills with or without warning.
2.

I am a fair mod.

PM me ASAP if you see a mod error or a rules break. I will do my best to fix things. I guarantee fairness and non-bastardness.
3.

Do not pretend to break the rules.

I will treat this as actually breaking a rule.
4.

If your account is not listed, do not post in the game thread.

If you post from the wrong account, I expect you to correct this ASAP.
5.

When dead, you may have one game-irrelevant substanceless "Bah!" post

. Do not reveal any information or otherwise post once you're dead.

Activity Expectations

This game is a commitment.

Please treat it as such. If you need to go V/LA, just let us know

in bold

and mark it in your profile. Otherwise, prods will be issued every 2-day period without game-relevant posting. If you don't respond or I keep having to prod you, I will replace you.
7.

Play the game.

"Prod-dodging" every 47.9 hours does not constitute treating this game as a commitment. I expect game-relevant posts and reasonable activity, and will give warnings and prods to players that do not appear to be playing the game in good faith.

Running Times

8.

Every phase will last (number of players alive + 2) real life days.

If there are 5 players alive, the deadline is 7 days. Extensions of up to 2 days for replacements.
9.

Voting

). Misspellings, shortenings, and abbreviations are okay.

Broken tags won't count.

Unvoting

Majority rules

: Plurality lynch will occur if there is no majority by the deadline of either. Ties between wagons will be broken based on which wagon's most recent vote was placed first. No Lynch is not an option.

• Protect Phase
  : Players vote for a player to be protected from the mafia kill for that day. No player may be protected two days in a row.
  
• Once a player is hammered, the first unprotected living player on the mafia's kill list is revealed to be poisoned.
  
• Lynch Phase
  : Players vote for a player to be lynched.
  
• Once a player is hammered, the lynched player and the poisoned player both die, and the next day begins.
  
• Lynches are compulsory. Plurality protect/lynch will occur if there is no majority by the end of either phase.
