General Rules/Game Etiquette

1. Obey all site-wide rules.
   
2. Talking outside of the thread about this game is forbidden, unless your role specifically gives you permission. (Eg. scum PTs.)
   
3. Quoting
   any
   private communication into the game thread is not allowed. You are allowed to quote private communication into any scum PTs, or notes PTs you have access to.
   
4. Flavor is merely flavor in this game. Do not try to make arguments using it, or I will stop posting it.
   
5. Follow the golden rule, (do unto others as you would have them do unto you), at all times. I understand mafia can get heated, but keep it civil.
   
6. If you can somehow edit/delete your posts, don't.
   
7. Play towards your win-condition at all times. Don't gamethrow.
   Do not play towards a cult win-condition if you are currently town. This is grounds for a force-replacement.
   
   
8. Do not use the following colors:

9. I reserve the right to update these rules as I see fit. Rule updates will be announced publicly in thread.

Activity/Prods and V/LA

1. At least once every 48 hours, you
   must post relevant, game-advancing content,
   otherwise you will be prodded. This is extended to 72 hours if you are V/LA.
   
2. If you accumulate three prods OR you do not reply within 24hrs of a prod, you will be replaced.
   
3. Up to two (2) prodges are allowed per prod.
   
4. All V/LAs must be declared in thread, or via the V/LA tags.
   I prefer you declare it in thread however.
   
   
5. If you will have an excessively long V/LA or will not have regular access to the internet/forums for extended periods of time, please request replacement instead.

Deadlines/Player Actions

1. Unless told otherwise, each day will last two weeks (14 days), and each night will last two days.
   
2. If the day/night is extended for any reason, I will post that in thread.
   
3. If you possess any actions, you must submit it via PM, or PT, otherwise it will be treated as if you took no action.
   
4. If you may target multiple people, you must specify which action targets which player, otherwise I will disregard them.

Voting

1. A simple majority is required to yeet, (half the player list, rounded down, plus one).
   
2. If you use an abbrevation of a player's name, please make sure others can understand who you are specifically referring to. Kori is fine, for example, but K is not.
   
3. If it looks like a vote, it is a vote.
   
4. Unvoting isn't required, but appreciated.

Setup Specific Rules

1. No-yeet is not possible. You must choose to yeet someone each day. If a player has not been yeeted by deadline, whoever has the most votes will be yeeted. In the event of a tie, whoever got there first will be yeeted.
   
2. Cult have day-talk.
   
3. The Cult cannot have more than three living players at any time.
   
4. If the Cult Leader dies, the Cult does not get another Cult Leader.
   
5. The Generated Cultist and Recruited Cultists share the same flip.
   
6. Cult Roleblocker resolves before Town Jailkeeper, but after Town Rolestopper.

Miscellaneous Rules/Information

1. I am V/LA every Saturday and Sunday. If you have something urgent requiring my attention, (such as a question, or majority being reached), please either PM me on the site, or DM me on Discord. My tag is Korina#0359.
   
   
2. Respect all users pronouns. If you are not sure about someone's pronouns, please ask. If you repeatedly mispronoun/misgender a user, I may take moderator action, up to force-replacement.
   
3. You aren't dead until you are told by the mod you are dead, and your role has been posted.
   
4. When you are dead, you are allowed to make one contentless "Bah!" post.
   
5. Follow the spirit of the rules.

The nine of you stood around in a semi-circle as Korina, the weird dog-man-thing jovially bounced around. They looked at the nine of you with a grin on their face as they began talking. "I see the two of you made..." they suddenly trailed off, their face falling into a frown. "There... there's three of you? Oh even better! Y'know, I was expecting only two!" they said, before continuing to jovially bounce around. Instantly, Maruchan whispered something into their ear. Korina froze. "No, there's only three of them! See! One... two... three... four..." They trailed off again. "How did... four of you pass?"

Another whisper from Maruchan.

"There's nine of you? Did all nine of you pass the cult exams? I thought I designed it for only two of you to pass! Not nine!" Troubled, Korina started counting again, getting exactly nine people. They pulled out their phone and called someone. "Yes. No. Maybe. Yes. Yes. Sixty-nine. A pound of potatoes. Dragon's blood. Uh-huh. I see. Yes. Yes. No. No thank you. Five orphans for sacrifices. Yes, you're welcome. Goodbye," they said, throwing out odd stares at all of you.

Finally, they turned to face you. "Alright, well, I still don't have any answers. There are nine of you. I'd assume seven of you actually didn't pass, and only two of you did. Very well, discuss amongst yourselves who you think did what, or something. I don't really know. I just need to figure out why there's nine people in the super secret HQ."
