Welcome one, welcome all.

Now I realise some of you may be a little confused as to why you are here, well it is quite simple. I, Lavos, wish to pitch 2 of my greatest fighters against you in a battle of wits. A warrior can fight with mind as well as brute strength, if what my analysis of your species is anything to go on. So you have been brought here, to a simple chamber which is designed in my honour, bordering on the edge of time. Now of course, a simple battle of wits is one thing, when your entire existence is on the line, it is another. That and quite frankly I'm bored and wish to be entertained.

In this battle of wits you are 4 against my 2. You have been provided a modified Gate Key, and a gate. When this key is pointed at a person and activated, they will not only be cast beyond the timestream, they will spend eternity there, in the void beyond time. You will, by simple majority be expected to nominate one person in the room to be placed into this gate, and they will be sent simply to the End of Time. In addition, one of my warriors has a Talisman upon them which - should they be banished to the Void Beyond Time, will take their partner with them, and you will be freed back to your own times.

Easy, you may think. You are mistaken. My two warriors have the ability to communicate in a way you will not hear, nor understand. They also have the ability to arbitrarily place one of you in the portal and send you to the End of Time.

GENERAL RULES AND ETTIQUETTE

• All Site rules must be followed at all times.
  
• Do not discuss this game outside of designated areas without specific prior permission.
  
• Do not quote any private communications with me, including but not limited to content, timestamps, etc. You may paraphrase.
  
• I hold a 3-strike policy on discriminatory and derogatory attacks, 3 strikes and you will be force-replaced and black listed.
  This may be waived in extreme circumstances.
  
• Vocaroos and similar are explicitly forbidden in my games.
  
• Please avoid using images as content or as proof of content or working.
  
• Please spoiler large images appropriately.
  
  
• Remember this is a game. Play to win, play for fun.

ACTIVITY, PRODS AND REPLACEMENTS

• Prods will be issued after 48 hours of inactivity, Saturday and Sunday will be considered 1/2 time (24 hours)
  
• Public Holidays in one place, may not be in another. Please announce V/LA for the period if you observe the holiday.
  
  For example: Thanksgiving isn't a thing in the UK.
  
  
• Any Public Holidays that I do make allowances for, will be announced in thread and with the adjustments being made.
  
• Prods must be responded to within 24 hours, or I will begin seeking replacement.
  
• A 3rd prod will be automatic replacement.
  
• Replacement searches will be announced in thread, a player replaced for inactivity will have until a replacement is found to make a game-contributing post.
  
• Prod-dodging is not allowed, a promise for content will be considered broken within 18 hours unless V/LA is declared.
  
• If you are expected to be V/LA, please notify me if possible. I will respect the V/LA banner on profiles.
  
• I may ask players who are frequently or on an extensive V/LA about their ability to post, and request they accept replacement.

DEADLINES

• Day Phase will last for 7 days.
  
• Night Phase will last for 2 days.
  
• Extensions may be given in extreme circumstances.
  
• Unless your role specifies otherwise, if you do not submit a night action, it will be forfeit.

ACTIONS, VOTING AND VOIDYEETING

• A simple majority will suffice for the player to be yote unto the void. (roundUp ( ( currentLivingPlayers + 1 ) / 2 ) )
  
• If no majority is reached by Deadline, a No Elimination will occur.
  
• Please use the vote tags to vote, or bold on a separate line.
  
• Please use players names or a suitable abbreviation for a player.
  VOTE: Flea - VOTE: Magician - VOTE: FtM are all valid votes for me, for example.
  
• If I think its a vote, it's a vote.

, and you with 3 others of your realm have been brought here to challenge two of my underlings in a contest of wits - and for my amusement.

I do expect a fair challenge, however, and I am not without mercy. I have granted you and your 3 allies but a single bullet, and armed one of my underlings with a talisman which binds them both. Should you shoot the one bearing my Talisman, both of my underlings will find themselves in the void beyond time, and you will be returned to your homes, victorious.

To surmise:

You have the power each day to

• VOTE
  - Use your power of deduction to find those who against you by voting them! A simple majority is required to banish a person to the void.

• DAY VIG
  - At any point during the day phase you may post, in bold,
  KILL
  and your target to immediately force them to the void.

  - The town has but a single bullet. The moment a player uses the DAY VIG ability, all other DAY VIG abilities are no longer useable. Should the Mafia reach parity, you will also have your DAY VIG ability deactivated.

DAY 1 BEGINS

As you awake from the bright blue light in front of you, slight confusion at the dream you just had, informing you of the challenge that lies ahead, you sit up. The sound of this blue light is strange, and almost aetherial. As your eyes begin to adjust you notice there are 5 others in this room with you, sharing your fate it would seem. As the lights in the chamber slowly rise you look beyond it's walls and realise you are quite literally nowhere. There is nothing beyond this chamber, only black.

You turn to your peers, it would seem your appearances have changed too, looking around there are 2 men, 2 women, and 2 others. Looking up, you see some creature floating above the source of the blue light, holding some strange key like object...

Sure but there's a reason quickvoting doesn't actually increase your chance to win, sometimes quickhammers will happen or scum can bus to avoid associatives.

I think our best play now is to have you make the choice, I'll voice my opinion but town has to vote together.

It will be smarter to use it as a pseudo-hammer from a scummy player. If that player is scum, they simply cannot shoot and we kill them. If it's from a town, we get two clears (the shot and the shooter) and thus we will be in a much better position.
