The replacement has no impact.

If you’re town and Koba town, scum win by one of three ways
A> Voting Koba out
B> Voting Looker out
C> No elim

If you’re town and Koba scum, scum win by two ways
A> Voting Looker
B> No elim
And lose one of one way
A> Voting Koba

The only possible elims today are Koba and you.

So then you should be cross voting as every town has to be on a scum elim.

If you’re scum then by all means continue not voting and you become policy

This is a team game. If it’s TvT we lost the moment Koba voted you. This isn’t about “who” loses the game it’s about the best shot at winning. From your town POV the only way we win is if Koba is scum. Because if Koba is town you town has lost no matter what.

I'm not voting yet. I need to do my due diligence when I play a game. I can take shortcuts earlier in a game but in an ELO situation there's no room for error and I'm not throwing the entire town's chance down the drain by voting before doing a full think.
