I have to answer your questions from a biased POV.

Because I changed my mind when I realised how much sense it makes for scum!Math to tunnel me as a lategame lynch.

Oxy is a scumfuck. Draynth is shady (which is a shame because he's awesome). Otherwise LOTS of townreads.

But I am concerned I'm tunnelling Math too hard, and if I can townread him (or give benefit of the doubt here) I should. Having him in the game is inherently pro town, and if he's town he probably wins this tor us. I just don't like some of his stances today in a big way.

Other reason I am concerned about confbias--I will give townreads too easily for people based on their stances. If I'm wrong this means I run the risk of townblocking scum.

For example atm I am townreading the fuck out of skitter but I am passively aware of the fact scum!skitter pockets me here every time.

Apologies if it came off as crass - not intentional - but, to answer your question: You can totally be defensive - just being defensive is a universal skum trait whereas the games you played in in the past you are aware of and will obviously alter your current game state to accordingly. So yeah, either no one cares, or more importantly - no one SHOULD care.

Since our Vig Canidate did not get run up, it would dictate that whether there is or is not a Vig, that they are not Skum.

If there is a Vig, then they know it, then they push a different player and assume the Vig Shot Canidate gets killed a night.
If there is not a Vig, they know it, then they push another wagon to use the fact Player A is alive the next day against them.

This seems like an unbeatable situation - which makes me suspicious of whoever brought up the Vig (HURT) idea in the first place.

@Oxy/Pingu--his reads list was transparently a newb read list and did not feel assisted at all. His arguing with sunsh is ridiculous and I would have begged him to stop via pt.

his responses to people calling him scum are newbish. A lot of his ideas of maf theory are wonky but he's digging in his heels. No one has jumped in to defend him.

It probably sounds like a pretty strong read for what it is but it makes sense to me.
