Think there's been a movement to paint Bambi as scum, about PR speculation and also jumping on almost50's bandwagon. DS and Volxion just casually parking their votes for completely different reasons, not actively attacking but softly sowing suspicion. Maybe I'm imagining it, but maybe not.

Is this you scumreading DS and volx? Pretty sure it is, but I want to know for sure.

Yeah. I'm thinking there's probably one scum in {Bambi, volxen} but it's hard to say which at this point.
I'm still waiting for ROS to come back with some reads before I choose who to vote next.

I ISOed everyone. Having never played with any of you. Most everyone is a null read to me at this point. I don't have to ask if Clemency is always that random. I've already experienced enough to know the answer. My read there is he is completely random. Bambi I feel is random with a purpose. Differentiating what that is is proving difficult on first read. There's alot of random so far in this game. Not sure I like the naked votes by Adelbert Steiner. And something registered with volxen but I need to go back and reread. I see there are few that have sus feelings towards me. Not sure if it's my quietness or something else but I should be able to alleviate those by being more active than I have so far.
To sum up those ramblings I sit with everyone dead in middle, other than AS, Bambi and volxen and those are only first impressions. Nothing that I feel comfortable as of yet pushing.

I'm kinda underwhelmed with volxen so far. From what I remember of the game I played with him before (Newbie 1893 - he was town that game) he had a tendency to write very wordy posts with lots of analysis. Post #253 comes close but I was sort of hoping he'd have more to offer. Then again, it's possible he doesn't have as much to go off this time, but at the same time I'm not entirely sold on BB being scum.

Isn't it fairly common for people to find it harder to think of what to write when they're scum, thus leading them to post less?
Of course, not everyone has that problem, but I was guessing it could be the case here.

Depends on the person. Some people find it easier because you're sticking to a narrative as scum where as town you are trying to figure things out. So as town you may be less sure of yourself. Does something from your history with volx make him strike you as being one way or the other? Do you think it's possible it could be as simple as he had more free time in the past than he does now?

Btw I've just finshed reading the first Day of that Watchmen game. I think it really helps to read the actual thread and not just volxen's ISO because it's important to see why he was being scumread.
Disappointingly, it hasn't done much to change my read on him tho

Hmm. This stood out to me. It just feels off. I think it's coming off in my head as "What can I do to make you vote someone other than me?".

Ironically, I feel like Volx was going for that impression. It feels like he's trying to match what has been linked to a possible town meta for him.

Wordy yes, but based on my read of Watchmen I wanted I now think that volxen writing wallposts is NAI in itself. What matters is how much is actual analysis and how much is fluff.

A good defense is ignore all that shit and stay on the offensive. Acknowleging it's scummy is be definition a form of guilt.

That feels too...is calculated the word I'm looking for? It's like you want people to forget they scum read you rather than address their concerns and show you are town through that process. The second way is harder to fake as scum. I dunno. It's hard to put into words but it really rubs me the wrong way.

To answer that, my issue was that you saw a reads list and your only comment on it is your own placement. It sounded like you went "oh this guy isn't screaming for my Lynch so I can live with that" rather than "oh cool let's see where this guy's head is at with all of his reads". Self serving posts like that are something I look for when looking for scum.

Clemency I haven't viewed you as the center of attention for the majority of this game. You've pretty much been someone whose posts can mostly just be skipped over because you aren't adding anything. The wagon on you is probably the starting point to that changing. I explained where my town read came from though. I know it's not solid but it's the best I could do with someone who was mostly not playing. I was also a bit willing to be patient with you because your style appears intentional. You remind me of Firebringer that way.

Egix's post 559 sounds like someone who decided before he started typing that he was going to vote clemency. Like rather than an honest evaluation of clemency's play it feels like justification so he can place the vote if that makes sense. I don't like it.
