I'm gonna take my own life in my hands and boldly posit that Infinity is town.-

I read your games as shiki and Angela and hari and a couple of other alts which I think are you but I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head
Is this the first time we've actually played together? Woah.

more eloquently, something about having confident early townreads in this setup just feels inherently more dangerous than usual-

ah sorry I assumed the context made it clearer than it was.In post 114, MegAzumarill wrote:No I mean what do the numbers mean? Your feel on skitter being town? The split of reasons why you are worried about trusting skitter? Its a little ambiguous.
I'm gonna sleep so don't expect to hear from me for a while.
I think I'm mostly nervous townreading skitter early because I have a very hard time accurately reading skitter early normally and her scumgame is very far above average. but it's not a big mostly. about 60% of the source of my concern. there's also just a big part of me that doesn't like early townreads in trust fall.-

It's a factor of this setup. To get mechanical information, you have to take the chance on someone being scum. We might have benefited from taking longer to make Infinity nervous (or just slow rolling the conftowns so that we could parse what that meant etc.), but it's overall not a bad strategy.
Trusting Enchant was just legitimately a good move.-

They're kinda not wrong, Faker. Personality clashes are what they are though. You're totally within your rights to avoid them.-

It's definitely not my style (you might have noticed, I'm kind of slow paced these days ), but definitely falls in the realm of personality and playstyle differences. In post 752, Faker wrote:

It's defensible, but I also think it's totally fair if you'd rather not expose yourself to it.-

I feel you. There's two factors to it, I think.
firstly: in an ideal world, thiscouldhave played out differently. if we had more time, maybe possibly perhaps wemightnot have gotten absolutely steamrolled.
secondly: we got absolutely steamrolled.
credit to Inf and Meg, their approaches to the game were strong and we weren't sharp enough to anticipate that they were scum approaches. just well played.
learning from losses is really healthy though. you're a cool player, and it's neat that you're learning. i learned a bit even just from my first-impression reads of people while i was in the game.
pedit: +1 skitter as always-

Faker & DkKoba, it'd be cool if you could both please take a step back. Criticism for playstyles is totally legit, asking folks to avoid you in future games is fine. I think you're both at an impasse and posting more probably won't benefit anyone.
pedit: it's a really, really high agency setup. if this was like, an RP system I'd want a really detailed session 0. You kinda want players who /know/ that the setup is brutal. A set of random players will probably cause friction more often than usual.-
