For some reason, this sounds scummy.Jahudo wrote:
Maybe I'm whatever that role is, you know, the outsider one, as a hidden role? I remember reading about it but I forget the name for it. Miller? I dunno, but my PM says I'm town-aligned.curiouskarmadog wrote:vote Jahudo, why are you scum?
Unvote. Vote: Jahundo-

It is extremely hard to put my finger on specifically, but it was just so ... vague. And I consider vagueness in general to be scummy. That aspect might be because I didn't know what he was talking about with the whole outsider thing, though. What concretely put me off was the way he used the phrase "town aligned;" if you read the PM, it doesn't actually use that rhetoric.Seraphim wrote:AlmasterGM: why exactly does that post sound scummy to you? Pretty much exactly that.charter wrote:I didn't think your statement was weird. The whole 'this is overly trying to sound town, so probably coming from scum, but no scum would be that obvious on accident on their first post' idea went through my head, but ultimately led nowhere.
Alamaster, did anything like that go through your head, or what?
Including the "but no scum would be that obvious" part, which is why I said it was hard to put my finger on the thought.-

The problem with the "no scum would" argument is that, or any argument of its kind, is that if it actually applied, you could never catch scum. The more ridiculous the move the, the more relevant "no scum would" becomes ... but that doesn't erase it from my mind completely.charter wrote:Seems kind of counter-intuitive if you thought the 'no scum would be that obvious part' but you still thought it was scummy. I'm not following you.-

From my perspective, I see
Andrius - 4 - curiouskarmadog, Charter, Seraphim,AlamasterGM- (L-0)
Charter - 2 - Jahudo,Andrius- (L-2)
Seraphim votes charter, CKD, and Andrius. Charter doesn't really read scum to me, and Andrius is confirmed town, so I'm seeing Seraphim throwing down votes on a townie and a person I think is town. I've never played in a game with fewer than 11 players, but I'd be inclined to think scum would be wary of a bus in case the wagon accidentally took off. That knocks off CKD and leaves Seraphuim and Jahudo.
Combined with the gut-scummy feeling I had on Jahudo before, Seraphim's wagon hopping and trying to see if a vote would stick (on three people who I think are town), and the fact that they are split between wagons, I think they are the most likely scumteam.-

It was the latter part of the post. And like I said, it's still just a gut feeling.jahudo wrote:How did that stay valid with you after you learned I was quoting another game and not me wondering if I was a miller or not? I thought the "too obvious to come from scum" part only referred to the idea that I was talking about a non-existent role in a serious manner.
Anyway, this game needs more charter and Seraphim.-

Well, scum have daytalk, so if the quickhammer doesn't roll in, we know one of Seraphim or charter is scum.
I'm leaning towards Seraphim-scum much, much more than charter-scum. Seraphim's vote is contradictory, OMGUS, and the "vote for the guy who hammered" excuse is LOL. Jahudo, who I think is a likely Seraphim buddy, also happens to be presenting charter and I as scum, which just strengthens my thoughts that it's those two. However, I'm willing to wait a bit just to ensure we get the 50:50 (especially because of what I did yesterday...)-

Hmm...I don't really know much about CKD, so I'm not sure how he normally plays. It's possible. His scumhunting is pretty enigmatic. He also seems to be moving along the exact same track as charter (Andrius lynch and now support for Sera lynch), but without the appearance that they are working together (not mentioning charter, distancing from the quicklynch, etc).Jahudo wrote:I've made it clear that you don't look like scum together. What do you think about charter and CKD as a scumteam?
Not sure if that's really a tell, though. It could just be a coincidence.-
