Extreme? You're at two votes, we need to get out of the random stage as quickly as possible. A vote's a great tool to spark people to say something, to expose scum who may make a slip or sommat.

People have already made good points; mass claim now would frustrate our ability to do individual reads, which is counter productive, all we need to do is catch ONE scum, and we win.

Cute. There are people who haven't posted yet, and the game's only been going for three days.

Let's not be so twitchy, eh? I admit, people could be posting a bit more, not naming any names, but now is not the time for a lurker wagon.

Hey
yellowbounder:
without getting so thorough into theory, when
is
the time for lurker wagons? I'm looking for a short answer.

Short answer: Difference between lurking, posting enough to not get replaced, not posting anything of any real significance; and an inactive player, one that will soon be replaced? Certainly feels like after three days it's a little too soon to get a "barely there" read.

Although, Snake should post.

Jumped on the wagon and skimmed. See post #51 & #52.

Seems more scummy than Aru, and remember, we only have to lynch one scum to win the game.

I haven't been "jumping on the wagon". You were acting scummy, in my eyes, I put a vote down. A
second

Haven't been skimming either, been reading this thread over and over. Don't know what to make about Malee/Fennin; feel that saying TAM is posting too much is a bit harsh.

I take offence that I'm lurking, I've been trying to post every day in this game, I don't have the volume that some of the other people have been having.

You post very... enthusiastically, and proclaim that obviously you've been noticable, and you don't know the names of anyone, because CLEARLY you are the best. It comes across a little grating. I'm not voting you yet, but you seem kind of eager. Maybe it's your playstyle.

Also ill say this now. I'm trying a more aggressive style this game since I was fairly passive in my last one. I think I may be getting carried away, and I'm pissing everyone off, but the attention and opinions I'm generating about me are good for the town imo.

I'm still not that plussed on what exactly a mass claim gets us. We already know that one of the other people in this game are town, and some of the pairing are more obvious than others, but what does mass claiming do, exactly? We pick the scummiest seeming pair?

My style this game has me making enemies with almost every player in the game,
attacking those that are being ignored and sliding by, and ultimately bringing on a ton of attention to myself. I have no experience on this site as town, and wanted to see how people react to such a style. At face value its obviously a town style. U can argue I'm being needlessly tricky and being bad scum....but that's a bit of a stretch considering I saw 4-5 players that people were happy letting sit on the sidelines. Fennin was one such player as well.

@other things: I don't see how u can consider hiraki to be scummy, given the reaction he had to be called town.

Are you really certain that you've made "enemies" of everyone else in the game? I mean, is this a thing you actually believe, or are you just exaggerating?

I'm half considering suggesting that we all mass-claim now. Based mostly on considering how dropping hints, and speculation on lover pairs seems to be a thing. What does everyone else think?

@Hiraki - I am saddened that bravado is apparently a "big word". It's not like I complained about the lack of
gumption
from certain players. Or how some of us are offering empty

Since I haven't had a vote on anyone: VOTE: Slandaar

I almost feel this is slightly reactionary, considering how he's been deadset on Yellowsnake the whole time, but I don't like much of his reasoning.

Is the answer Slandaar's general adherence to logic none of us understand, and a lack of response to things we ask of him?

Unless I've forgotten the difference between a scumtell and a scumslip.

I have argued against all of these points before, and doing so again would just give them legitimacy that they do not deserve. Saying them again does not constitute a new argument.

I resent the implication that I have posted zero content of my own, thank you very much. Posting three times rambling on about points you made last page, and the page before that does not equal content either.

And unique content is what? A sudden insight into someone's scummy posting? Viewpoints, feelings, discussion? This isn't a game where we shout at each other, surely there's some, you know, debate?

The meta on debating on debating is not lost on me.

Also, in case I'm not communicating effectively, I think I am posting "unique content", and do so nearly every time I call you out on your repetitive credos.
And your constant repetitive baseless attacks against me and my lover for
too many pages
is getting in the way of serious business to find and lynch the scum. And that's almost the very definition of
not pro-town
.

Yep

It is called fence sitting

Did you say hes town? nope, did you say hes scum? nope

What did you do?

I object to this notion.

Part of the process is trying to show why you are acting in a pro-town manner, trying to hunt down scum. This is not Day 1 in a regular game, where if you're lynched as a Townie, it gives the town valuable information.

This is LyLo
, and
we cannot afford to hit any town
members. Stating that you are town is a
null tell
. Anyone who states anything else other than
I am town
, is generally lynched (unless SK magic or w/e).

You need to show us WHY you are town; act in a consistent and helpful manner, ask questions of people, call people out on their crap, investigate double standards, follow slips, use the information the mod's given you.

If you are going to be lynched, and you are a townie, you damned well beg for your life.

Slandaar, seriously, I had no idea what you were talking about when you were talking about the QTs. Had I realised you were asking "what did you and Snake talk about in your QTs" I would have answered "secretive lover things".

And I did read the PMs, or at least was aware that everyone got a QT before we started. Honest to god. Game's over now.
