Sorry for the delay; the slow hour and a half I was expecting to use at work last night to play mafia turned out more like Armageddon.

I still haven't had time for more than the cursory read-through I did before offering to replace in, but I originally asked for the Bowser slot because I thought it was scum, so I'm fine with that lynch. As an added bonus, fitz's avatar is uglier than a pit bull's rectum. I'm not really sanguine about Majiffy either, but 'jiffy busses.

Going to try to get caught up now and post a read wall before work.

In post 450, havingfitz wrote:As if you've never come across a pit bull rectum, in all the pit bull rectums you've experienced, that was uglier than my avatar. Right.
I used to play Truth or Dare as a teenager and nobody wanted to see me naked :(

Not much to be gleaned from D2 since it consisted mostly of everyone telling fuzzy off, so I'm going to be ignoring most of it, but not all.

Players that were in on both mislynches: Troubles, Amethyst Actor, Majiffy, Bowser, Does Bo Know. :( A shorter list than that would have been mucho helpful, folks.

Amethyst Actor

#37 - Who is thinking about lylo this early in the game?
Liking the resistance to what amounted to a policy lynch on fuzzy, scum would want a short, uninformative day phase and D2 was the perfect environment to get away with making it happen; will have to think on that some more
Leaning town

Does Bo Know

#74 This post is town as fuck. I didn't notice Rondar's lack of engagement. I will not be voting Bo today.
Top Town Read!
You win a bucket of steam.

havingfitz/Bowser

Not liking his entrance; first non-RVS action was to bandwagon, and no other contribution whatsoever D1; D2 was spent entirely going after the easy fuzzy lynch
Scum

Mac

No posts except complaining about fuzzy still talking D2, which is null due to overwhelming consensus. Predecessor was also highly content-light. Want to hear more
Null

Majiffy

Lots of posts, but no content until #100
Not liking the holding down the pillow on fuzzy when he said that TNE could be scum and then called him paranoid; It was clear to me that fuzzy was enumerating
possibilities
rather than saying both of those possibilities were 100% true, which are the words 'jiffy was putting in fuzzy's mouth.
Leaning scum, but it's still mostly gut

Rondar

Pre-#445 looked like flying under the radar to me, but I'm liking his catch on Majiffy's change of tack -- I didn't catch it and I was looking for substantiation to a gut scumread.
Null, but that's to be expected with so few posts

thenewearth

D1: Fluff
#92: I'd have voted fuzzy anyways, but the concern reads more like townTNE to me. Full disclosure: I've never lasted to D2 in a game with TNE, but I did follow along in the dead QT in the one I played with him where he was scum.
#216: That's a non-sequitur. Scum can and do take the obvious kill.
Leaning Town

Troubles

Troubles this game reads very much like the Troubles I know. His vote on me (or my predecessor) in #75 is exactly what I'd expect, and his attack on fuzzy in #97 and #110 is likewise in character. (Although in #97 I might expect a FoS on fuzzy if he didn't want to drop his vote on me). I will not be voting Troubles today
Town

That's from ISOs only, hoping to get time to go over the thread in order again before things start hopping, but that depends on how shit work is tonight.

Depends on AA's response, I suppose, but I don't see anything they could say that would condemn them in my eyes.

I am perfectly capable of townreading someone without agreeing with everything they say.

He's not doing so bad, really. I'm still undecided on whether I want to fitz today, or you for leading the mislynches.

Leaning fitz today because you bus, but it's a pretty close race.
In post 519, Your Troubles Will Cease wrote:Also, Belisarius could quite possibly be scum here. In all games I've seen him as Town in, whether from beginning or replacing in, he's immediately begun thrashing around looking for splashes. But he replaces in here with one scum read and a leaning gut.
I can see where you would fail to draw a distinction between my town play and my D1 play, because I'm usually not alive on D2+ as town, but there is a difference.

I purposely play to my wincon, yes, and with flips it's easier to identify what is and is not relevant. There are fewer people to go after, and I can rule out potentially associative tells on interactions between live players and those who have flipped town.

As a more concrete example, here is the towngame where I survived into D2, where I also used townhunting and PoE to determine who I wanted to lynch.

So that's not a good point against Majiffy.
Explain how Majiffy knew Mala was in the hydra while TAM wasn't?
It's null, some players are good at identifying who's speaking in a hydra with one head they know. Case in point, TNE could always tell who was speaking when me and fuzzy played as a hydra against him in Micro 148

Having a case made on you can make it easier to read the person making the case.

I have an easier time reading someone when I have direct interactions with them.

Also Troubles isn't the only one having troubles (lawl) understanding why people think he's scum. I've asked, too.

Since I've been pushing Fitz, I suppose I should explicitly say that I do
not
have intent to hammer at this time.

OK, that makes me feel better about a potential Fitz lync and preserves your status as my top town read.

Aye, but as scum you'd have different motivations, leading to subtle differences that can be picked up on intuitively even if you don't know why.

I'm voting Jiffy because he feels subtly different from the townJiffy I just finished a game with.

Also, remember what I said about asking for the Bowser slot because I thought it was scum?
